TWill was good because Romo made him good. They had a great rapport, especially when Romo scrambled and had to create on the fly. He is kind of like Laurent Robinson in that regard. He will be a valuable player again when Dez is lining up on the other side and Romo is throwing the ball.

Having said all that, I would be really okay with them spending a high pick on another receiver.

Cassell gets 90% of the blame for the punt INT. Terrence didn't fight for that ball at all

How do you fight for a ball that's woefully underthrown and you're streaking down the field to create separation from the defender - which Williams did?

So TW was supposed to streak down field to get open, put distance between himself and the defender, see that the ball was thrown behind him, stop and reverse field, phase through the defender's arms and recover in time to make the catch?

Some of you have very unrealistic expectations.

That ball was up so long that yes I expected him to fight back towards it. Again, almost all of it goes on Cassell, but watch the play and how lazy Williams was in getting back to it

This goes to show everyone....all you Romo haters....just how much he elevates the play of everyone. EVERYONE.

He is one of the top 20-30 players in the NFL....that is across all positions....and certainly one of the 7 best quarterbacks.

He is not remotely replaceable.

I disagree. I don't think it's as easy as you make it out to be. TWilliams has to look for the ball because he's running his route. If Cassel throws it towards the endzone and towards the sidelines, that's a touchdown.
When TWilliams looks to locate the ball, he has a defender brushing past him and the safety (I presume) jumping in to intercept the ball. I don't think he had that much time to get back to the ball.

I'm ready to move on from T-Wil. His bad plays negate his good plays and what you end up with is..........zero.

Doesn't have good hands. Doesn't run good routes. Doesn't have elite speed. One big 'Meh'.

Funny.....

A few months ago guys were saying how good T-Will was, while me and a few others said this very same thing about him, and got told we are worrying about nothing, and are fools.

Both Beasley and Twill have regressed under Dooley. I'd be fine with moving on from him at this point

McFadden showed something without Romo and Dez in the lineup. It was probably a combination of : (1) McFaddens skill set (2) online playing a bit better (3) qb demonstrating that he will throw deep.

I realize Cassel threw a couple bad passes, but Williams didn't help him out at all.

Then on the "punt" that Cassel threw up into the stratosphere, all Williams had to do was let the corner run over him as he turned around and realized he ball was short. He could have gotten a pass interference pretty easily. Instead, he steps out of the way so the corner doesn't hit him as the safety picks the pass.

That you Dr. Carson?

Williams telegraphed his break so badly on the TD pick that Rogers-Cromartie was already breaking to the ball when Williams was pitter patting his feet 10 times. Then his break was just as lazy, never getting to the spot. Even if he was wide open, he wouldn't have gotten to the ball in time.

he is a 4th WR talent at best..... he needs strong supporting case and specific plays for him to make impact.....

Broaddus didn't excuse TW, but said that the ball should have never been thrown. That Cassel was late with the ball because of pressure from Free's guy.

Been saying Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley are #3 Wide Receivers. The Cowboys do not have a #2 Wide Receiver
that can become a #1 if Dez is out....been saying this for 2 years. We need to Draft a QB, WR and RB in the 2016 NFL Draft.

That's a given, but people who have been told time and again that football is a team sport have a hard time accepting that losing two guys means you can't win a game.

There was nothing wrong with his route on the pick 6 play. The primary failure on that play was that Doug Free allowed his man to push him back into Cassel and his defender got his hand up right where Cassel needed to throw the ball. Cassel tried to throw around the defenders outstretched arm which caused the ball to be in the wrong location.

On the end zone INT, the other defender (not the one with the INT) should have been penalized for contact with Williams. He rakes his arm across Williams face-mask preventing him from properly tracking the ball in the air.
