This is a funny post. The object of the game is to win. When you win by 35+, that is still a win, right?

We'll they scored 33 and gave up 39. My point is big 12 defenses aren't that good. OU, Missouri, and Texas have been exposed. It maybe TT turn next week. No defense, no national tiltle.

I hate to break it to you, but if OU beats TT and OSU, and UT wins their last 3 games, then UT goes on to the Big 12 Championship game. If they win that, they get the top seed in the Big 12, and most likely the opportunity for a National Championship game.

You are leaving out the sos ranking. I do believe if Oklahoma wins out they have a better sos than Texas does.

The win over TCU will help a lot.

Dont let your obivious hate for Oklahoma skew any of your rankings there.

Texas was #4 or 5 when Oklahoma lost to them. Where was TT ranked?

If Oklahoma wins out and gets the wins over OSU and TT. They will be in the NC game.

They don't even have to play in the championship game to make it into the NCG.

Yes I absolutely hate the Sooners.....just as the Sooner fans on here absolutely hate UT....but I find it funny how we are all in agreeance that UT should still be ranked ahead of OU, since they have the same record and UT beat OU. I'm not being a homer...I am being rational. Texas was ranked 5th when they beat #1 OU. TT was ranked 7th when they beat #1 Texas...there isn't much difference between 5 and 7. Both games were road games for Texas.

No, it goes by Conference standings.....and UT owns the tiebreaker over OU. UT would win the south and thus go to the Big 12 Championship.

I am not a UT alum, but I did want them to win and hopefully play for a national title, but if there was ever "exposure" per say it was Mack Brown as a second rate coach.

I have never seen a coach go out of his way to save the other team about 40 seconds for a team that only needed a field goal and had already put up over 400 yards in the air.

I am having a hard time getting over the ineptitude of a head coach who gets paid millions. It is one thing to nit pick game plans as an average fan, but that was some pretty obvious moronic coaching.

none of that means diddly squat when you are talking about the Conference Championship. It strictly goes by Conference rankings. UT beat OU and OSU, so they hold that tiebreaker. If Texas Tech loses to OU and OSU, then the winner of the OU/OSU game will be tied with UT for the best record in the south. But UT will own the tiebreaker over both and thus represent the south in the Big 12 Championship.

He ran the ball that's pretty much all you can do, you can't not score just to milk the clock and have it come down to a possible 4th down, what if they don't make it? bad coaching then too?

No way does USC deserve to be ahead of Texas. WSU and WU completely suck. They got beat by an unranked OSU team that got slaughtered by Penn St. and beat by Stanford. They barely beat an unranked Arizona last week.

UT has beaten higher ranked teams and lost to #7 on the road. Sorry but I cannot see how you put USC ahead of UT.

they should have just stood in the huddle till there were about 10 seconds left on the clock. then run up to the line and run the play. If they dont make it. run more clock, cause there still would have been 1 minute left on 3rd down and 2 timeouts to use.
