"He had some college success, but it never included a fictional National Championship. His successor got closer to the real one than he ever got to the fictional one that existed before last year when the NCAA finally had a Division I Championship tournament to choose the Champion."

Kelly also got to a National Championship game, here in Arizona, losing to Cam Newton and Auburn in one of the better National Championship games. I don't know where you are getting this "fictional" National Championship garbage. The only thing fictional is your "simple mathematical terms as it pertains to pedigree" in regards to Garrett. Garrett is the product of nepotism, Kelly earned his time as an assistant.

We get it, you love Garrett. Enough already.

Today I learned that Philly is going to be a dumpster fire even after upgrading their QB, RB and defense.

They picked up a few nice pieces on defense, for sure. Bradford is more talented than Foley but whether he can stay on the field long enough to provide an upgrade remains to be seen. Meantime he comes with a much bigger cap charge. As for RB, I think most would go with Shady McCoy over Murray.

Good read, but you need to work on the aesthetics of your website. It's quite slow and dated looking. I can help you out, if you wish.

It isn't my website. It is owned and operated by Ted Sundquist, the former GM of the Denver Broncos. I'm just a measly writer sharing my opinions.

Bradfords cap charge has no effect on their competitiveness this yesr though. And Foles couldnt stay healthy so at worst they are back with Sanchez who killed us last thanksgiving if he IS healthy behind a much better OL the ugh

Debateable on Shady. He has more shake and bake but it causes him to lose yards. I thi k murray fits in there faaar better.

My point is that everyone is laughing at Kelly for the offseason moves, but to me it looks like he flipped McCoy, Foles and a second rounder for Bradford, Murray and a good LB. It isnt as though thats rubbisH.

2. I'm not going to point to Jason Garrett's success as a backup quarterback and compare it to Chip Kelly's success as a head coach in college. I'm not sure who should be considered better, but to me this is comparing apples and oranges. What I will say is that I love Garrett's supporting cast from Stephen Jones down to his position coaches. So, for that, I'll give him the nod over Chip. Take either of his coordinators away and Garrett could have some serious issues as a Head Coach. Could be wrong...hope I am.
Just my obsession with pedigree jday. I am not saying Kelly isn't a good football coach, he is. But I am pretty comfortable in my belief that he shot himself in the foot and Jason Garrett is going to win Super Bowls as a Head Coach. I have never wavered from that despite the 8-8 stuff. I stand by it, good or bad.

I read parts 1 and 2. Very enjoyable reading material; great job bud. I agree wholeheartedly, I nearly peed myself laughing when he made the "Super Bowl" comment. The moves made by Chip and the Eagles have been beyond head-scratching and regardless of how much I loved Murray while he was in Dallas, I look forward to watching the Eagles fall apart and his decision blow up in his face when the Philly fans Boo him relentlessly.
The only way you could have read part 2 is if you have a DeLorean with a flux capacitor and have already been to tomorrow. I will post the link to that part tomorrow.

The poster showed me a link to Part 2 of this article. It wasn't supposed ot be out until tomorrow. So I am rather shocked.

There is the link as promised and my sincere apologies to the poster I doubted. He didn't need a DeLorean.

I appreciate that jday. Many of the posters I like best are ones who don't agree with me on stuff and engage in good conversations and discussions. The feeling sir, is mutual. I enjoy your thoughts.

Hos. With all due respect relative to wanting to be a writer, not a journalist, choose one or the other. I'm confused as to which direction you want to go.

Ditch the moral angle and favoritism when writing a piece.

You have talent. Find your avenue.

When you decide which one you want to pursue I'd read it all day.

Foles has more big game numbers than Bradford, and lets not forget they lost their Dez Bryant and Greg Hardy.

#1 WR Jeremy Maclin to the Chiefs.
&
#1 Pass Rushing DE Trent Cole to the Colts.

Murray's come out and said he turned down more money elsewhere a couple of times. Unless he's misstating things. For example:

And that's the one problem I have with Murray. I think he deserved more money. I don't blame him for wanting it but when he turns down more money to sign with the Eagles, that's what gets to me.

No idea what you are getting at Seven. I have never felt like I am journalist. I do feel I am a writer. I share my opinions. They are mine and mine alone.

This piece is wrong on all fronts

Murray made the best decision for himself...easily

And Dallas made the best decision for their franchise...

The only ones who made a mistake are the Eagles...they paid an average, at best, football player...elite money...

Big mistake...kudos to Murray for cashing in

Kudos to the Cowboys for running him into the ground and getting rid of him

Murray isn't average. Average player doesn't lead entire league in rushing. He's above average and maybe good.

Rest I agree with.
