But I guess it's safe to say that the article posted about that 'bonanza' of comp picks is essentially out the window then? They were talking about possible 3rd through 6th round picks for the players we had lost.

Given the Hardy, Brinkley, and Gashkar signings, it looks like those ideas are out of the question.

The max any team can get in a draft is four. Hardy was a fairly significant signing, so I would bet on not getting the maximum.

This isn't true. All of the sack bonuses and almost all of the roster bonuses are considered "not likely to be earned" because Hardy would not have met the thresholds for those bonuses last season. Those bonuses, if earned, will count against next year's cap, not this year's. We have plenty of cap room next season to handle Hardy's bonuses without touching Romo's deal.

I heard that on the radio as well. Obviously if he meets those criteria.

Jeez, seems like you have to spell out everything on this site lately.

This is part 1. Part 2 supposed to be out tomorrow. I'll add it to this thread.

Hope you enjoy it. I make some pretty bold predictions throughout. Oh, and I tweeted this and included Murray in the tweet in case he wants to read what a mistake I think he made.

The GCCD (My acronym invented for Murray - Giant Check Cashing ******) is an idiot for the reasons you point out - He will be hated in Philly. He / they will not succeed. Dallas would have / could have accomplished it's ultimate goal with him on the roster. If that happened, his financial reward, long term celebrity and relevance would have been cemented. Instead he became the GCCD. He's dead to me.
