Your right IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MORALS..

so people need to stop psycho-analyzing why he dances in the end-zone, talking about how it evidences his 'selfish-ness' and greed.. and than in the next post, say it has nothing to do with morals, BUT WINNING and earning the PAY-CHECK..

I'm sure TO also likes to celebrate with his SMILING friends.. I'm sure we all do...

but than again, I thought it was just about EARNING THE PAY-CHECK...

And we ARE CLEARLY better with TO... our offensive numbers have increased dramatically from last year... but I guess that's all about Romo and Glenn combination, right?

we are 4-4 right now we are no better than last season at this stage and if a guy is going to flap his lips then he better back it up and he is not backing it up. He is not turning the 5 yard pass into TD's and he damn well was not brought here to be a possesion WR. As for his celebration I don't care about that as long as it does not cost the team and I would say that about any player and Parcells has told this to his players we don't need that

Best in the Red Zone
25 TD already - 36 TD's all of last year.

Yup we are better!

What's ironic is that people have to keep throwing 2 drops in our faces, despite these numbers just to confirm that they are 'right' about TO that he hasn't helped our team... and TO wasn't even a main target in those games...

Talk about who has the ego...

hell, we had Bledsoe, having one of his WORST YEARS, and we still are among the top teams in offensive output... and Bledsoe lost at least two of our games...

If we didn't have TO, we'd be at best 2-6... TO has opened the running game... I guess the numbers put up by Jones and Barber is also not the result of TO...

With TO and NO BLEDSOE, we would be at least 6-2.. and those two losses, just to appease you TO haters, we can attribute to TO...

As a team, we are 4-4 and are not making the plays when we need them the and that is not just TO it is others as well. There is no doubt if we stop hurting ourselfs we have a chance to turn this season around but right now we win 1 we lose 1 and that has to end and all the positive stats don't mean jack if this team can't do that. I'm not giving up on this season by a long shot but things have got to change and quickly.

For some folks it is.

But for a minority of dear souls in this world, in every walk of life, it is not. If you read the words in my signature, you will see something expressed that is more important than any touchdown, or career of them.

That's 'all' my point has been..that before anyone suggests that "Terry Glenn should take a page from Terrell Owens' book" as was expressed in the initial post in this thread, they might stop and think about who they are talking about.

Imo, Terrell Owens should take a page from Terry Glenn's LIFE.

And of course, I realize that the writer, an excellent poster, has no idea what Terry Glenn does for the other members of this team (probably because he doesn't live on this board;), but also because 'flying under the radar' doesn't mean calling a pc to brag about every virtuous act and/or thankless task you perform.

And we ARE CLEARLY better with TO... our ffensive numbers have increased dramatically from last year... but I guess that's all about Romo and Glenn combination, right?

And you see, you couldn't resist the 'jab' at TG! :laugh2:

But who said the offensive firepower isn't better with Owens than with my beloved KJ? Hasn't increased?

Unfortunately, so have our penalties increased. Our mental errors.

As yet, the RECORD hasn't been better..and that is the final arbiter no matter what number of TDs gets scored. Imo, there's a very distinct possibility the overall influence of Owens is partially responsible for the lack of focus on the team (see the Galloway article thread).

Some of us DO think the team's lack of focus is about 'morals', or to use a clearer term - 'team character'. I happen to think team character is the MOST important factor in today's NFL, if you want to build a consistent winner.

I think Marvin Lewis is finding that out, quite clearly, as he finds the talents of his selfish and his malcontented inevitably balance the scales away from success.

But..we shall see. ;)

This thread has taken some funny turns. My original point was that if a certain wr who is exceptional in one aspect of the game notices a teammate struggle in that area, he should offer some tips or advice. It wasn't meant to be a knock on either TG or TO just saying as teammates they should help each other out.

For all I know he HAS been helping him but you would never figure that out going by what the media serves up as news.

If it's true that this cannot be corrected at this stage in his career , then we made a horrible mistake by taking TO.
He's managed to catch 6 TD passes, so I won't trade that in for anything. On a side note, when TO dropped that pass it was only half way through the 3rd QTR, some how we still couldn't seem to separate from Washington for the rest of the game. That's sad.

I agree that the boys are a more explosive unit with TO on the field but I wanna see consistency. I'm sure its killing BP as much if not more than its killing me.

With consistent play and limited mistakes I the the boys could go undefeated the rest of the way. The probability of that happening is probably 1/793287402834

Can't teach an old dog new tricks. I have noticed TO bad hand placement for a long time now, so I am sure many of his coaches have tried to correct it, but I am sure he has just blown them off. Otherwise he would be catching it correctly by now.

WE did so with Ellis didn't we :)
