Thank god Troy isn't commentating on Sunday.

Sometimes, the truth hurts. The vast majority of Aikman's past commentary about the Cowboys has been 100% on target. Some of that commentary has been positive. Some of it has been negative. He is one of the best analysts in the business because of that very fact.

I, for one, would love for him to call all of our games. Fans would hear studied insight about the performance of the teams involved. Viewers used to get that more often in the past, but it's rarely given in this era. Nowadays, there are too many Theismanns giving their sorry input while you're trying to enjoy the game.

I don't mind aikman commentating and it's good that he shows he can be negative to his team, nothing worse than a homer commentator on the national level.

I think Moose is a better commentator though.

atleast theisman isn't an *** towards his old team

I'd rather Aikman be a respected arse around the globe, than a villified homer, who's own peers jeer him on national TV

Well, if the team is "sucking", they should get "talked down"!

Just because Aikman does not blow smoke up everyone's arse, they don't like him calling games?

Listen, the Cowboys have done ABSOUTELY NOTHING lately!! Until they do something, then let all the smoke get blown...

Or, maybe there is a golf or tennis match that you can watch instead?

Wow.

It is hard for me to understand. To each his own. I think he's a decent TV guy. Everybody has there own opinion, all are entitled. Sorry so many seem to think he sucks. I guess all I can say is that I don't so sucks to be you guys.

For me it's great.

I can respect that but to claim that the other side of the coin is soft is unfair. A lot of people feel this way Hos.

I think there are valid points on both sides and I choose to mute him :)
I don't care that a lot feel that way and I don't care if my saying they are soft offends them. I really don't.

I don't think there are valid points on both sides. I think some people need to toughen up. Guess what? There will be times that our Cowboys aren't being gushed about.

Dear Lord in heaven we can't have that!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah right.

Soft. Right between the ears soft for some.

Well I'm not soft or sensitve. I do have a backbone. Smarts? Well that is debatable.

I think he go's overboard sometimes so he wont get the Cowboy homer label. I dont mute him but he does get on my nerves from time to time. I have no problem with him telling the truth about the Cowboys but sometimes he just seems to take it a little to far.

Madden was a big time homer in the 90's and I couldnt stand him. So it has nothing to do with not be able to handling the truth.

I disagree and I will give an example.

Dal @ Jax

Reggie Williams touchdown on A Henry.

Troy says there was a lot of contact but Reggie kept playing? Huh? How was Henry supposed to keep playing getting pushed to the ground?

That was so insighful.
