Zeke is about two Whataburgers away from being our fullback.
This was true for the early 2000s Broncos and absolutely nobody else.I disagree.. You can run the ball with cheap guys at a high level.
RB's are everywhere and volume is the most important thing when it comes to their success.
Oh darnit zeke how dare there be other good backs in the league and you drop to 7th lol. Zeke will be fineTrue, but not as of late. If im not mistaken, he's dropped from the best to #7. Pending which NFL site.

You absolutely can not consistently run at a high level without a talented back. Every team who tries to do this has a crappy run game.

Is it always your time of the month or do you just enjoy whining like a stuck pig?I'm pretty sure the last 10 Superbowl champs had cheap RB's too.
I don't know what to say. We did the stupid thing and now we have to find a way to win by making stupid salary cap decisions.
Oh, another Zeke is fat take. Cool.

People are stupid. All fatty did was come 1 carry short of leading the league in carries again. He would have lead the league in rushing for 3 of his first 4 years w/o the phone suspension. And Gurley is made of paper mache and Zeke doesn't miss games. But its fun to say he's fat and lazy I guess.
There's actually been a ton of examples that proves this untrue.I guess I don't see what you're seeing then.
IF you give them volume they will produce.. That's what I see. It really doesn't matter who it is or what their situation is either. Just give them volume.
If Tony Pollard had Zeke like volume he would have Zeke like results.. It doesn't mean he is better then Zeke or as good either. It's just how that position works IMO.

Volume and production (assume you mean yards) don't mean efficiency, they're pretty irrelevant. A good running back doesn't get you there alone, but you don't accomplish that without one.I guess I don't see what you're seeing then.

Johnson and Gurley are older than Zeke and both have been severely injured in 2 out of the last 3 years.Does anyone expect our deal for Zeke to turn out any better?
Agreed. We only have 2 years left of high dollar guranteed.Zeke has 2 or 3 seasons left of “prime” in him...
we essentially have him locked up for those years and can get out of his last year of the deal cheap if the drop off doesn’t warrant that last year
people act like fans have to contribute to some fund that goes to playing these players
Pre fat extension he was already an inefficient player, who lacked motivation, didn't work hard in the offseason and was coddled in season.

Some fans think and talk like it's their salary capFans care about the salary cap and how we spend our resources towards it.
Some fans think it's stupid to pay a RB a bunch of money because production at that position is mostly decided by volume and RB's tend to get hurt.

It's amazing people will never acknowledge this point. How many top tier Rbs were in the super bowl this year? It is not an essential position and you don't have to pay that position to have an effective offense. You can go into the draft just about any year and find really good rbs in rounds 2-4.
