We had quite a few drops that killed drives.

rush is making the right reads and calls. He is not forcing the pass to pad his stats.

Bravo to Cooper Rush. He did everything you could possibly ask for of a backup QB and helped us win 4 straight games.

Having said that, I believe it’s time for Dak to come back.

Rush has been solid but he’s also shown how limited he is the last couple weeks. Granted, his WRs didn’t help him today with all the drops; but I believe, despite the flaws of his own, Dak objectively puts us in the best spot to potentially go on a playoff run.

So here we are. 4-0 with Cooper Rush at the helm, and our starting QB should be back in the fold when we face the Eagles next week. I really really hope that they force Dak to play more within the design of the called play and stop giving him so many freedoms. If they reign that in a bit, I think Dak can be very successful.

Cooper Rush, I appreciate your service! My hat is tipped to you, sir.

I think he plays again next week.

Not sure I am thanking Rush for the wins, but thanks for not screwing it up and giving us enough at the QB position.

Dak is out for Philli.

Cooper is fine right now. Cooper obviously isn’t Aikman but there were games where Aikman threw for 150 and 0 TDs and the team won the game with no turnovers, great defense forcing turnovers, special teams, and a strong running game like they did today.

All I know is Rush has less turnovers in 4 games than Dak has in 3 quarters.

He's doing what is needed and making plays when he has to.

Enjoy the wins while Dak's hand heals.

I am a fan of the cowboys, not any individual players. I get everyone hates Dak, but he led the #1 offense in the league last year. I love Rush as our backup, but he can’t push that kind of offense. It’s obvious.

I would like to see dak back after the bye but he has to play a lot better. He has to run the ball when he can’t get the ball down the field.

You miss turnovers and making things harder than they should?

I don't.

I enjoy having more points than the other team at the end of the game.
You're smoking if you think throwing for a 100 yards is a recipe for a title. This isn't the 1950's.

There's NO WAY they bring Dak back against the Eagles after going 4-0 with Rush.

I think there will be reports of Dak still "managing" to grip the ball and working on the side doing drills. "Day to day" they'll say. "We're not sure" will be the theme.

Let dak get completely healthy before he comes back. Each win buys us time. To me this win bought us enough time to where if we had to we can rest dak until after the bye week.

You’re right in a roundabout way.

Rush’s success gives us the luxury of sitting Dak until he’s truly 100%, and I don’t think he’ll be 100% next Sunday. When Romo used to get hurt midseason, he had to rush him back ASAP because we couldn’t win without him.

We have the formula to win behind our defense and run game, with Rush making big-time throws when needed.

Not a Dak fan, and everyone knows it, but yeah; objectively, Rush is far too limited to be a starter. Dak is the better option right now.

Thank you for being logical even as a Dak hater. More people should think like this.

It won't happen next week.

I would be shocked if Dak plays on that stage next week.

He's not built for that stuff.
lol you know we are in agreement there. My bad, I didn’t mean to quote your message there.

Do you expect Dak to level up our passing game?
Sarcasm right?
Panic-riddled,non-accurate, couldn't read a defense if his life depended on it and your expecting Dak to make our passing game better????
................GL with that fantasy.

The Cowboys aren’t going to be able to keep relying on winning games by passing for < 150 yards.

Do I think Dak is “the answer”? You know I don’t.

But I do think that defenses are starting to key in on Rush’s limitations.

Dak’s ceiling is higher than Rush’s ceiling. That’s what I’m saying.

what’s funny is you’re making condescending comments purely because I say Dak might be the better option. And if you’ve been watching the last couple games, I don’t understand how you could possibly disagree

We won today because of our running game and defense. We’ve won every game because of our defense. Rush isn’t making any mistakes but we need more production in the passing game.

Why? You dance with the one who "brung ya." The most ideal situation in football is when you're winning games with only having to throw a dozen passes a game. This isn't Madden or fantasy...the only thing that counts is the score at the end of the game.

Sure...bring Dak back. Maybe he'll exceed the three points the offense mustered under his command in Week One.

I'd rather see this team win slugfests, as opposed to getting sucked into track meets.
