That Cooper Kupp TD

Kupp burned the entire defense. Diggs played the proper technique on both the big plays. The safety was out of position on both plays.

But the job of the offense is to put the defense in unwinnable positions. They just did a good job on those two plays. The more amazing thing is that it was largely limited to those two big plays.

Aaron Donald got roasted by Connor McGovern on the long Pollard run. It happens to even the best players.
I aactually thought they were going to flag that play. McG looked to be holding and the Cowboys usually get flagged for that considering it was at the piont of attack, very similar to hendershots penalty.

sometimes the throw and catch are just better, Kupp is that good yes fingertip from Diggs making play, ball was bobbled..howber credit has to go to throw and catch..it happens pros on the other side as well, they cant make all the play's,
Rams board is probably saying the same thing about the Gallup catch on Ramsey on the sideline.

Sometimes you just got to tip your cap to the opposing player. Kupp is an outstanding player one of the best in the NFL and made a big play.

yup near perfect throw and catch

On both Kupp catch and the 57 yarder that was throw. Coverage was there the ball was perfectly placed. As I said Rams made 2 big plays outside of that really nothing. Well they did have the fake punt but resulted in no points

You are whining. Kupp is an elite receiver for a reason He makes great plays, and got one on us today. Shocking. We held him in check for the rest of the day, and I am proud of my team for that. You keep whining though about one play if that makes you feel good about yourself.
muc4doo.......you making much to do (hint). Nobody is discounting Cooper Kupp. Nobody. Are you suggesting that route is an excuse for our top CB, simpley because it was a good throw/catch? Just asking? Unfortunately, Diggs was beaten immediately on the route and not close enough to stop YAC.

agree Diggs and our dbs were blanketing in coverage but those throws were dimes.

The problem with this play wasn't Diggs.
It was the safety behind Kupp going to the ground trying for the Int.
He thought the past was to far in front of Kupp.
Instead, he should had played the receiver.
During the replay, you could see the safety's arms hitting the ground behind Kupp (maybe diving) while going for the ball.
I did not see any other view of this and the annoucers failed to mention it.
Last line of defense, you have to play the receiver there.
Dono came up to jump the Scorownick route.

Biggest question is...how does no one else tackle him?

Kupp is the top receiver in the league. He made a play on us. It's not the end of the world. Jerry Rice made plays on us. Guess what? We beat the 49ers 2 out of 3 in the championship games in the 90's. I don't like the attacks on Diggs because Kupp got one on him. You can limit Kupp. You can't completely stop him, and that's what happened today. Kupp had ONE big play today. I think we did well other than that one play on containing him. Don't tear Diggs down because of one play.

Who's tearing Diggs down? I called him our Top CB. Is sensitivity training required now? I'm just analyzing what I saw (with new glasses on). That's all. Calm down muck4doo. Calm down.

Sorry. I've seen some throwing Diggs under the bus for losing on a play against the best receiver in the league, and it irks me. Revis and Deion weren't perfect either.

Diggs was beaten by two perfectly placed throws yesterday. It happens to the best of ‘em.

I was mistaken.
It was Brown #3 playing bump coverage.
His man was crossing the middle and he made a play/dive towards the Kupp route coming from the other direction.
Still, deep safety bit to early on the crossing route leaving that deep zone open for Kupp to run uncontested.

what CB on the planet earth makes that stop, let alone cut and pick 6? One of, if not the best WR in the NFL made that play happen

Let's just face it .....Cooper Kupp roasted Diggs on that play, and showed some speed.

Let's not get carried away.. Kupp got two good interference blocks on the way to that TD. One on Diggs and one on Kearse. Maybe he scores anyway but let's not start any legends of his world class speed based on that play.

Kupp is the best receiver in the league. He had a perfect pass from Stafford. Those two won a Superbowl doing that. They are no joke. Don't attack Diggs for that one play. Revis, Sanders, Renfro, Adderly, Haynes, Hayes, Blount, and Walls weren't perfect either.

Just admire how good Kupp is, and he got his play in. He is elite for a reason. Don't tear down Diggs.

RonnieT24.....not carried away. But to me, I saw Kupp pull away from Diggs further, when both went into "second gear". Maybe its a question of Diggs speed then. Nobody popped out as World Class and headed to the next Olympic trials, however. But to Kupp's credit......he is good with YAC on many of his catches. And for some.....not tearing Diggs down.....it was mano vs mano on that play, and Kupp happen to win that battle. That's all I'm saying. All good.
