I was watching this game and was thinking that we win(Giants game opening day) in a similar fashion if we dont give them all those points(24pts) via turnovers.

I cant wait for the rematch.

Let me 'splain it to you Lucy. :D:D

Cowboys put up 31 points while Romo kills three drives with Turnovers. One more turnover for 3pts.

So lets add lets say, just to be fair HALF of the points and take them away from the Giants. You get about 43-21 Cowboys.

The Giants were scoring a whopping 3 FG's until we starting throwing it to their defenders.

I can explain more if you would like.

and if the Titans don't give up 100 touchdowns to the Pats today, the game is tied 0-0

your logic is flawed because that's who we are - a stupid *** team that turns the ball over/kills drives

If this team would have destroyed Carolina and KC,even combined with a loss to Denver I might agree. This team struggled against both Carolina and KC and until they show some consistency my glass is half empty.

I think his point is that our team plays well in many aspects of the game and that our turnovers generally have a limited number of causes that can perhaps be identified and eliminated as the team improves. That's a lot better than a team with so many problems that you can't identify the variables and don't know where to start.

Two-minute defense needs to be on the list, too, but I think it's pretty hard to argue he's not right. Then again, I also haven't packed in the season yet and can't wait for the rematch in NY, too.

Look, I hear ya. This is what we are dealing with. I am hoping for an epiphany, something... LOL

A game that has passed doesnt affect a future game. Come on, the undefeated Pats, 2007, were beat by a 4-7 Ravens team that only lost because of a time out that was called.

There is time to change what is happening here.

Games are hard enough to win in the NFL without imposing this silly constraint. Just be happy with the wins. By the end of the year, you're not even going to remember why you were so unhappy with September/October wins.

Let me explain something to you, sport

Turnovers are part of the game. Good teams avoid them, bad teams commit them at crucial moments. Not only that, but without them you cannot possibly know how the game would have turned out because the entire complextion of the game changes.

Excuses are for losers. Saying "if we didnt do this..." is for losers. Winners go out and put up more points on the scoreboard.

New York is better than us, as are about 20 other teams in the league this year. Deal with it.

Thats all I am saying.

Also, I dont believe the "Parcellsism" fits this team. "We are NOT what our record says we are" - we are what our coach is.

We're pretty much what our record says we are, aren't we? A slightly above-average team capable of beating bad teams with mediocre play but whose carelessness keeps us from beating the really good teams? It's just that most of this board can't put 3-2 in context.

This is correct

We are 3-2 only because we've played 3 of the worst teams in football

LOL. Case in point.

Dare I say it, the Giants were EXPOSED

I've been saying it since we lost to them, New York isnt a great team this year. They have beaten up on 4 of the worst teams in football and almost lost to us.

Which is why I get tired of people using the face that we almost beat them as proof of our ability to be great at some point. We lost to a good, not great, team at home.

What's the point of debating whether or not the Giants are good or great when you lose the TO battle 4-nil? That gets great teams beat by good ones all the time.
