A game that has passed doesnt affect a future game. Come on, the undefeated Pats, 2007, were beat by a 4-7 Ravens team that only lost because of a time out that was called.

There is time to change what is happening here.

It seems the Patriots used the loss to Denver as a motivational tool to beat the Titans like a red-headed step child today.I agree that there is time to change but they better get it going against Atlanta.I mean 5/16 of the season has passed and before you know it that number will be greater.

Games are hard enough to win in the NFL without imposing this silly constraint. Just be happy with the wins. By the end of the year, you're not even going to remember why you were so unhappy with September/October wins.

Games are hard to win in this league. The part that bothers me about this team is the lack of focus. This team has to many penalties or a costly turnover to be considered anything but a mediocre team.

Fact is, we're three winnable games from starting the first half of the season 6-2.Would ya'll really complain about that?

This is correct

We are 3-2 only because we've played 3 of the worst teams in football

So you are saying this is a 1-4 or 0-5 team?

Uh, no.

We're pretty much what our record says we are, aren't we? A slightly above-average team capable of beating bad teams with mediocre play but whose carelessness keeps us from beating the really good teams? It's just that most of this board can't put 3-2 in context.

Well. I feel we are that 5-0 or 4-1 team......... with the right leadership we would be there.

The Giants game. Well Romo choked it away.
The Broncos game. While the Broncos are better than we thought. They arent THAT good YET.

Of the season thus far I was most impressed with Romo on the last drive against the Broncos where we didnt score. I feel a better prepared and more mentally tough team wins both game.

Thats all I want. Not asking for much :)

We're not disagreeing. It's turnovers and mental errors that are beating us, and if we cut them out, we'd be one of the very best teams in the NFC. We'll just have to see what happens from here on out.

Y'know what though. I think 3-2 is a good indicator of where this Dallas team is right now. That those 2 losses came because of STUPID mistakes and turnovers, things that can be corrected, is a positive.

At 5-0, having faced weak opponents and sneaking by a Dallas team that committed FOUR turnovers, I think the Giants were a bit overrated and overconfident going into this game vs the Saints.

All things considered, I'm ok with 3-2 now and am looking forward to the rest of the schedule knowing that if this team can just clean their act up, they *CAN* win games.

If we had played 5 teams with .500 records or better, probably. We've only played one "good" game this year, and that was against 0-6 Tampa Bay (and we trailed that game at halftime)

We're a bottom 3rd NFL team, primarily because we are one of if not the worst coached team

Washington is the only team I'd consider worse off in terms of coaching, but then again they don't have a lot of talent and almost zero depth. Considering what he has to work with, it's almost mind-blowing how awful Wade is.

Not really. Not at all, actually. The NYFG and DEN games are toss-ups under any circumstance. What's mindblowing is how much our fans overreact to early season losses to good teams. Especially when Wade Phillips has a very well-defined record of success during the regular season.

Why not just wait and see whether or not we're able to fix the problems that are causing us to lose the close games to good teams?

We almost lost to Carolina and should have lost to Kansas City.

Wade Phillips also has a well-defined record of complete failure in December and the playoffs. He's just going full ****** a few months earlier this year.

But golly gee, he sure is a swell guy

I got yer back Mick. I definitely agree with what you said about the Gnats. I can't wait for the re-match in New Jersey. Bring it on!

The Cowboys are not what their record says they are.

We have been waiting for this team to correct the stupid mistakes for more than one season now, and counting. I frankly don't think that is going to happen after all the embarassments and Wade as coach. Get a good coach and this team has the talent to contend. As long as Wade is calling the shots then this team will continue with its "aww, shucks" attitude.
