So why would they be so adamant? Couldn't they say "Everyone needs to look at themselves" or "Everything is being considered" or "No comment".

Why would he come out and say those things distinctly?

Is that a trick questiion?

You know good and well that if any player that does not pump sunshine up T.O's *** that he will never speak to them again! Especially when they're not sure, one way or the other, if he's coming back.

He'll pass Crayton by week 2 of the preseason. come on.

I'm not saying he will be Jerry Rice, but people automatically count guys out just because of where they were drafted. Once he gets his chance, he will shine. RW11 isn't going anywhere. So the next best option is to cut Owens and get Austin on the field where he can use his speed and quickness to make a difference. Carolina didn't know what they had in Steve Smith until they got him on the field and they found out he was more than just a kick returner. Not saying Austin is Smith, but what's to say he won't be and how do we find out?

Who is saying Crayton is better?

On the contrary, Austin is better IMHO.

But as to the depth chart, Crayton the talker is in his way. And Jerra needs to (1) Keep Austin and (2) Get him on the field.
But the reality is, Jerra's spending in other areas might preclude us matching Miami's overtures to that lad.
Irgo ipso maximus simpatico, Austin goes for the money and the beach in Miami.
