I remember some morons here claiming Dak played great and elite the same game he threw two picks and one of them a pick 6.

"but they weren't his fault' was the dry of the Dak doofuses.

One big mistake can lose a game; you cannot have that happen with the regularity that Dak had this last season.

Hurts did play great for almost the entire game; no one can deny that. On the biggest stage there is and under the most pressure he produced.,

But he also made the big mistake as well. That drive to tie things up was huge; cannot take that away from him. Anyone thinking he is not a top quality QB is a true idiot.

BUT he is a running QB and how long will he last? Though as long as he is like this he is going to be a nightmare for defensive coordinators.

As regards the KC coaching, what more needs to be said. Andy Reid shut everyone up once and for all in this game about whether he deserves to be in the HOF. He had the record and everything else before this game; now he has an example of GREAT COACHING when it mattered the most to go along with it.
I don't regard Hurts as a top-quality NFL QB sorry as you take away the legs and the excellent supporting cast and he is pretty much another Dak wearing Green.
Everyone should hope they pay him Dak type of $ as this( like us) will bury them for years to come.

Philly controlled the first half and were losing by a few minutes into the third. Were chasing the game from then on. They must be real dissappointed that their defense never showed up.

Coaching on offense matters. Anyone who watched what the Cheifs did tonight can see the night and day difference between that and whatever Kellen tries to do. You don't need a complicated offense just one that you run well and gets players open. You don't need elite weapons. Hopefully Big Mike took some notes tonight.
Their use of the FB is outstanding

I hear what you are saying and I'm not saying you're wrong but there is one huge difference that has nothing to do with the WR talent. PM can put the ball anywhere he wants it to make it as simple as possible for the receiver. It just can't be overlooked that great QB's make others around them look better.
Take out the QBs, and ask yourself this is this group (JuJu, MVS, Toney and Moore) better and more talented than this group (Washington, TY, Tolbert and Houston).

Then out of these 2 QBs who needs the more talented and better group to succeed, Dak Prescott or Patrick Mahomes, after replacing their number 1 wide receiver?

Group 1 is more talented. Definitely DP needs all the talent around him you can get.

Not having an elite QB is fine.

Paying a non elite QB like they’re elite is what messes your team up and prevents championships.
ok, find me an Elite QB. give me a name and we go get him. put your name etched next to it....

oh, wait. nevermind

I found this 1-800-ELTEQB number. I called and ordered two, just in case

:omg:

Well he HAS the legs and the supporting cast so really you do not make much of a case

Nope, blame Dak as the tape shows….
clearly you have a blind spot as regards Moore. Watch the SB again and then watch our games and you see what a top quality OC and company can do versus Moore Dak and company

Dallas and Moore also led the league in second half scoring, even if you discount defensive scoring TDs its top, and when Moore took over, they basically went to top 5.

Acting like Moore doesn’t adjust is comical. The Chargers had Lombardi and they hired Moore for a reason. Chargers were 28th in second half scoring.

The only people that think it’s Moore and not Dak are Dak-azoids.
alrighty then, the resident Romo fan speaks...so let it be known

how was his 4th quarter scoring without Dak? just wondering. I haven't done the work. neither intend to. I will just assume an answer like you do

The point isn’t finding an elite QB.

That’s hard to do.

The easy thing to do is not pay a Dak type and work on building your team.

If you like being stuck in mediocrity, and Jerry Jones does, then go ahead and pay your Dak’s and be mediocre.

I’ve been on here for years saying this. Maybe someday it will click with you guys.

You don’t have to pay just to pay.

The Eagles lost this game, Kansas City did not necessarily win it

The big, take away, you can give the game away, Kansas City did not necessarily win this, this is a choice of eagles losing it. They gave it away.

1. Coaching matters as much as any QB
2. Oline is the key to any great offense
3. Best two teams played in the SB
4. No chance Dallas has a chance against these type well run organizations with Jerry at the wheel here.
5. Cowboys are nowhere near the level all around to those two teams.

Why can't the Cowboy front office see this and act on it? It boggles my mind. It is absolute ignorance and negligence.
Agree - which is why the negligence will continue if we don't draft a QB every single year regardless of the round. All it takes is to hit on one 6th-round draft pick who comes out of nowhere. It happens but only if you take the chance.

What? You mean the Chief nor the Eagles ran 4 curl routes on the same play?

It helps to have a coach who calls plays that are needed when they are needed. Kellen Moore calls plays like he his head up his butt.
I could be wrong, but I swear on this board a few years ago people were knocking Reid as not being able to "win the big one." Well, now he's won two, in a third.

The big I noticed was the creative use of movement to get the guys they wanted open. Like relatively simple stuff, but I couldn't help thinking, why cant we some of this?!
