That is a misogynistic point of view. It doesn't matter how many women they put out there that end up not being your cup of tea. Every person deserves to be judged on their own merit and not pigeon holed as inferior just because you can identify her gender. Way to self identify yourself as one of the misogynist I speak of.

I thought the same about Taylor Stern, but she grew on me. As long as Derek and Nick are around, I think they'll be fine.

The lady on Sunday Mornings (recorded on a Wednesday evening) and she also does the post game shows of Fox Southwest.
Can't recall her name, but she does a very good job hosting the show. She is on the preseason pregame shows also.

She will probably be doing segments from TC as well.

That's not what your words convey. You spoke of castings stones at her because the previous number of females before her were not up to your standards. That's not judging her by her merit. It's been one show, it's not time to judge her. Listening to her introduction, she admitted her upbringing in the Dominican Repupublic, it was baseball not football that was the sport of preference. She didn't get this job for her football acumen and yet that will be what you will condemn her for. She doesn't stand a chance with men of your ilk.

To be fair, you responded to the user saying, "You misogynist out there" so I took it as you were calling him and others who dislike the new female host, misogynistic, which I think is an unfair categorization.

All of those Cowboys shows seem awkward to me because there is always one person who has the most experience either with football or doing tv/radio on football and they seem more focused on being the top expert in the group rather than working with the group.

I haven't listen to her yet so I cannot comment on her, but when I do, if I don't like her, it won't be because she's female, but rather because I don't like her insight or how she fits in with the rest of the people on the show. I like commentators who know their stuff, but don't act like they're better than anyone else. Most of all, I really don't like hosts who think they're funny and seem to focus more on trying to make a witty comment than actually sharing their opinions on the topic.

That's an astute observation... I didn't treat a misogynist fairly. I'll take that assessment and still hold my head up high. My adult daughters read these pages from time to time. If they see that I have yet again defended womanhood from a misogynist that judges all woman as inferior until proving themselves otherwise, then I am all the better for it, in their eyes. I will not apologize for doing so. Ambar Garcia's first language is Spanish and she does a great job hosting several Spanish speaking shows on .com. She's been there 3 years and it's about time she got attention from the mainstream English speaking side of cowboyszone. I'm glad to see her addition to the show.

I'm not privy to her resume so I can't answer that question but she said it herself, she's didn't grow up in a society that that celebrated football and she is not football savvy... she is trying to catch up. Judging by her hosting duties on her Spanish speaking shows, she is an intelligent person that deserves to be given a chance.

Ambar was obviously nervous and will get better as she gets acclimated.

The real issue on those shows is Rob Phillips the man is a constant wet blanket.

I used to listen to the break religiously for years but stopped listening to it last year for the same reason as OP. I couldn't take Taylor Stern. I'm gonna listen to the new episode and hope the new girl is better.

And no, I couldn't care less what gender, age, race, enthnicity, etc. football analysts are. I just want them to know football, simple.
