The Buffalo Bills' Powerhouse Offense "Centered" on This Ex-Cowboy

Jerry Jones lets our young talent go and never replaces them with the poor comp picks given by the NFL. Some turn out to be solid starters. Look at the Bills' center, Connor McGovern, a 2019 Dallas Cowboy draft pick. He has a good chance of going to the Super Bowl. Offensive linemen sometimes need several years of grooming to become starters.
I live in WNY and watch alot of Bills. He is league average. Slightly less effective than Biadasz was last year

McGovern is the same guy he was in his last two seasons here - an average NFL starting lineman. On a loaded team with an MVP quarterback, he's a "glue guy". On a talent-barren offense with a backup QB, he'd be "just another one of Jerry's overpaid vets."

Dude's not a bad lineman and has deserved his nice 4-year guaranteed contract from Buffalo, but he's no Hall of Famer either.

Anyway, I would prefer that we keep the McGoverns and Biadaszes of the world rather than let them walk. Interior OLs take a long time to develop and sign for comparatively cheap in free agency. So when you let them go after 4 years, you pretty much just pay for 2 or 3 years of their job training, and their new team reaps the rewards.
Id say he is a Kyler Koiser level OL, and you can have a solid line with a guy like that

I'm all fairness McGovern has a QB that he would run through a brick wall for. Nobody is doing that for a trash QB with no accountability.

Buffalo actually acquires solid Defensive Tackles. Monsters.

BTW, ALLEN LOVES COOPER. We couldn't wait to trade him for bag of oranges. As far as Connor, good on him. I never will believe what the Jerry Jones sycophants said about Amari. Mike Fisher was the ringleader. Amari never quit and isn't lazy. Ask the Bills how they feel. Im glad he got out of Dallas and Cleveland.

No, Cooper clearly was lazy on some drives, right on camera.

jerry likes to hand out stars second contracts because they sell jerseys
he doesn't hand out contracts to other players like williams because they cost more and he replaces them with rookies.
he also likes to keep these type of players to the end of their contract, so he doesn't have to pay for the same position twice (regardless of performance).
its a strategy to maximize profits.

Hopefully he wins a championship with the Bills because that's all we have now as Cowboys fans, rooting for exCowboys players to won a super bowl ring with another team.
Because he sure as he'll isn't doing it with the Cowboys

actually, it's quite the opposite the man was not worth the money to keep we got TB and he was as good on rookie deal, wasn't good enough got Beebee who is the future on a ROOKIE deal and have Hoffman who can also start all better than Conner.. he wasn't worth the patience or the money. We got better at both positions ie LG and Center ..miss that? Conner Williams retired both left the same way. more times than not this does not work out....

lots of teams allow players to walk and they end up being good players.

Great QBs know how to how around in the pocket. This helps OLmen. We don’t have that luxury.

Man stop this

That offense goes through Josh Allen and without him that team is picking top 5
and i wouldn't put high hopes on that defense doing anything in the playoffs. anyone watching that D the last few weeks.. they have some hard teams to play to get where they need to go...but sure lets talk Bills an afc team on cowboys forum..lmao..we do NOT miss CM..

Stop it 99% of the fan base called Conner a bust when he was here.

If he can only run through a brick wall for certain guys and still be average then good riddance.

Interesting. Our linemen seem to be perfectly fine….i don’t remember people thinking Fredericks being a bum or Zack Martin….wonder how on earth Tyler Smith snagged an all pro….

i do not root for ex cowboys players unless they were significant like Ware etc this dude was here for cup of coffee,,meh

Remember he didn’t get off the bench until his final season and fans were complaining because he was starting over Tyler Smith in the preseason.
Yep I remember vividly. I even wanted him back for a certain price but looking what they have now it was the right decision.
