Cb and safety two years with no interceptions. Even his highlights are underwhelming. How is that even possible? Lol

Ramsey had only 3 interceptions in 3 years at CB and people back here claimed because of that he was overrated and essentially a future bum.

This is the point you guys are missing. Looking at int totals and basic stats is moronic.

Again, his highlights are trash. How is that possible? He doesn't compare to Ramsey at all.

Antonio brown and Patrick Peterson return punts. Odell returns punts frequently as well.

Like I said, in certain situations it's fine. Playoffs or a team is kicking from their end zone. I'm aware some teams have their stars do it 1 or so times per game. I just don't value exposing a starter on a play that most times only gets 8 to 10 yards. A first rounder's return ability isn't in the plus column to me.

I also want him bulking up for LB and that's probably the end of his punt returner days anyway.

His lack of takeaways in college says much different

yea, I have no doubt he's dangerous with the ball in his hands, but I don't see him getting a ton of take a ways at WLB or SS simply because he didn't in college.

Cherry pick which posts of mines to reply to

Not sure what that means but you still are missing the point. No one compared Peppers to Ramsey.

The point, that is pretty easy to see, is that looking at his college stats and proclaiming the kid can't play because he doesn't have interceptions, for example, is moronic.

I actually think this might be the pick.

I would be shocked. I think some team will draft him way higher than his production warrants and he'll be gone before 28. On top of that there would have to be a derious run on DEs for us to not draft one.

I posted other stats as well. And who said he couldn't play? Nobody in here said that.

After I slept over this Post I am even more on board drafting Peppers at 28 if available.
He secures the middle of the field.Jones and he play off each other.
I dont think we'll be that lucky. Think about adding two difference makers to our defense next year.JSmith and Peppers. I'm impressed.

Screen passes and other short passes are high percentage but what the receiver being covered by Peppers does after the catch is what matters. A fair amount of time he is tackled behind the LOS and often the receiver is tackled immediately for a short gain.

Wow good find...if that isn't damning I don't know what is.

Like I said, he's Mark Barron or Deone Buchannon. Someone is going to have to find a specialty hybrid role for him to have a shot at being anything special in the NFL. And that sure won't be on a Rod Marinelli D.

No, when he didn't actually record INT's, FF's or sacks it's not arguable. Keep letting the ESPN hype machine think for you though...

And you keep willfully ignoring his TFLs. At this point you're not even feigning objectivity but only stubbornly trying to support your claim.

When I made the post I knew some would see the merits and others wouldn't. No big deal.

BTW Adore Jackson is still chasing Will Fuller.

I'm comfortable knowing there's is no chance Dallas drafts Peppers over Jackson. And if you look at that play how often are receivers left one on one with that much open field in the NFL?that play was more on his d coordinator.
