Irvin isn't.

That's not a nose wipe, but still did it too often...though it did fire up the crowd.

Yung thug is a rapper in which he resembles.

Not an actual "young thug" lol
He put the article "a" in front of it, and didn't capitalize, so I didn't make the connection. I see posters for Young Thug driving on the BQE. Doesn't really look like him to me.

Thanks for the clarification though.

Depends where & who uses it. In football it's a first down. Outside of football it means excitement.Lol. How do you know you replied to a brother being there's many sisters in here?! Including myself!

Has anyone figured what that gesture CD often does after a catch is?

It looks like a mouth wipe to me, kind of like a sloppy old western cowboy might wipe his mouth after drinking his whiskey sloppy or a slob might wipe his mouth while eating (like a variation of Elliot's feed me).

The reason I ask is because I am watching the Michigan Wolverine game and a player did the same thing after a sack and got a 15 yard flag . The announcer, rightly, said the ref mistakenly felt that was a throat slashing gesture but it clearly wasn't. But what the heck is it?
This is like the third time this has come up lol.

It’s a “wipe your nose” celebration. It’s an ode to a term popularized by a rap group out of Atlanta. It’s originally street terminology but no need to go down that path lol.

One of the most used phrases in rap the past few years. It’s a pop culture thing.
