Has anyone figured what that gesture CD often does after a catch is?

It looks like a mouth wipe to me, kind of like a sloppy old western cowboy might wipe his mouth after drinking his whiskey sloppy or a slob might wipe his mouth while eating (like a variation of Elliot's feed me).

The reason I ask is because I am watching the Michigan Wolverine game and a player did the same thing after a sack and got a 15 yard flag . The announcer, rightly, said the ref mistakenly felt that was a throat slashing gesture but it clearly wasn't. But what the heck is it?

Ithink it started when we played the eagles last year..this year lamb is doing a short cut to his wipe..cus after the wipe he supposed to shake his arm/finger...get it? He just took a booger (green/eagles) out his nose and then shakes the booger off his finger..hence... get off me,,punk after he made a catch...

when are they going to have to dance off at halftime? Maybe Don Cornelius Jr. is around to start a line a midfield.

Probably not a lot different than zekes feed me. Just a way of celebration

both look a bit silly but I’d rather see the nose swipe than the jaylon swipe

Snorting coke off the ol index finger - worlds dumbest “celebration” in all of sports imo

This is like the third time this has come up lol.

It’s a “wipe your nose” celebration. It’s an ode to a term popularized by a rap group out of Atlanta. It’s originally street terminology but no need to go down that path lol.

One of the most used phrases in rap the past few years. It’s a pop culture thing.
yeah but I distinctly recall the first thread on this, no one knew what it meant. They definitely did not get as specific as naming a rapper, at least the first few pages of that thread. And that was a year ago. Hence me bringing it up again, especially seeing a second player do it. I must have missed the second time it came up
