The Cowboys Are Averaging Just 5 Yards Per Play This Season. The 2nd Lowest Efficiency Over The Last 20 Years

Several articles out there showing that offense is down across the entire league. The leading contributor seems to be recent rules tweaks that favor the defense. Most notably, DBs are allowed to grab more and PIs are down.

For this scheme to work against this short zone D we will see every game now.. we have got to stretch the defense with long passes.. we have not, be it MM or Dak, teams are sitting in 7 man short zones with 2 deep and we have not made them pay at all... you cant run when every defender eyes are on the backfield and they are within 5 yards of the line....every teams LB's look like world beaters if they can play like this with no worry of 15 yard outs and such.
