The Arizona Cardinals have made it clear they will entertain trade offers for WR Anquan Boldin, who is looking to leave because he knows there is no way he can get the mega-deal Larry Fitzgerald signed in Arizona.

So here’s what should happen. The Cardinals, who are ready to part ways with aging tailback Edgerrin James, should send Boldin to Dallas for running back Felix Jones. The Cards would get a huge upgrade at RB while the Cowboys would give Tony Romo and wideout Roy Williams a needed boost in the passing game.

And if Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt would like a cherry on top of the deal, the Cowobys can throw in wideout Patrick Crayton. The deal makes sense for both teams. Get the bean counters together. If Jerry Jones is as smart as he would have us believe, then he needs to pull the trigger and make this thing happen.

Cap implications aside, Barber is the best back to consider trading in this scenario.

I hope you are all laughing at the idea of Jones being the proven quality player Boldin is. I thought it was bad when folks on here were implying Austin was worth a #2, but Felix Jones has a couple of big runs over the course of a month, and his stock is higher than the best slot man in the game??

I'll keep the cheaper 22 year old big play runningback over the expensive 29 year old big play wr.

He made big plays over a 4 game span. How does that in any way equate to what Boldin has been doing for half a decade?? Mostly with jokers at QB. Obviously, the contract demands would make me hesitate, but I dont see any comparison between the two whatsoever.

RB is the easiest replaceable position in football. We're in an era of pass happy offenses and smash mouth football teams that rely on tandem backs and unless you're delivering Adrian Peterson to me, I dont see one back in the league worthy of bending over backwards for.

Michael Smith from espn just said he thinks the frontrunner for Boldin is Baltimore. he also said he doesn't see Braylon Edwards or Julius Peppers being traded.

You obviously have zero understanding of the word prospect, now while this is not baseball per se, felix jones is amongst our best young players. Young in the sense of # of seasons in the league and not age. Just because felix jones has not accomplished what boldin has accomplished as far as stats are concerned, does not mean jones is not more important to this team than boldin. Take felix off of this team and you immediately remove our most explosive weapon, it is apparent you didn't see how well we fared without him.

I would not give up a 22 yr old RB (with a lot of promise), for 2 or 3 years of good production from Boldin. I would consider trading Barber, because of the wear tear on him, but it would be hard. I just don't think trading Jones or Choice at this point is a good idea.

If it wasnt for the huge cap hit.....I would trade Barber for Boldin.

IMHO Choice has shown me enough that I think he could replace Barber.

I love the Barbarian.......but....take advantage of the talent you have at tailback and solidify the weakness at WR.......unless of course we all think WR isnt a weakness and believe Austin and Hurd are the answers :)

Nobody's taking away from what he did, but...

1. Quit acting like we're comparing Jones to T.O. Boldin is still young.

2. Once again, exactly how many times a game are we planning to feed the ball to Jones?? 10?? 12?? Unless he's gonna carry the ball 20 times a game, which he never even came close to in college, I dont how this becomes such a jaw dropping idea.

I can't see us paying two wideouts millions and millions of dollars, especially with Ware yet to be paid.
