The Cowboys can get Anquan Boldin. Now.

as much as i love felix, i would do that deal in a heart beat. drafting wideouts is much much harder than running backs. hell we hit on 2 last year, how many good wideouts have we drafted since irvin? i could definitely live with barber + choice combo. honestly i would try to pawn off barber first. that would be even better.

If it wasnt for the huge cap hit.....I would trade Barber for Boldin.

IMHO Choice has shown me enough that I think he could replace Barber.

I love the Barbarian.......but....take advantage of the talent you have at tailback and solidify the weakness at WR.......unless of course we all think WR isnt a weakness and believe Austin and Hurd are the answers :)

After a half season most of us, including me, thought Julius was going to be a stud also.

I'll wait until I see more from Choice personally.

wait, wait.. so what he meant was we trade Felix for Boldin AND Rodgers-Cromartie? Or maybe Boldin AND Karlos Dansby. Right?

I would be reluctant to trade Choice straight up for Boldin. I'd do it, but I'd be reluctant. :)

You obviously have zero understanding of the word prospect, now while this is not baseball per se, felix jones is amongst our best young players. Young in the sense of # of seasons in the league and not age. Just because felix jones has not accomplished what boldin has accomplished as far as stats are concerned, does not mean jones is not more important to this team than boldin. Take felix off of this team and you immediately remove our most explosive weapon, it is apparent you didn't see how well we fared without him.

:clap2:

I would not give up a 22 yr old RB (with a lot of promise), for 2 or 3 years of good production from Boldin. I would consider trading Barber, because of the wear tear on him, but it would be hard. I just don't think trading Jones or Choice at this point is a good idea.
The lifespan for a RB doesnt scream longevity. Particularly with a back who's never even averaged 13 carries a game dating back to his collegiate career and has everyone on this board gaga over him after only played 1/4 a season at the pro level.

In their dreams.:lmao:

Felix Jones is one of the best players on the team. Just wait.

The Arizona Cardinals have made it clear they will entertain trade offers for WR Anquan Boldin, who is looking to leave because he knows there is no way he can get the mega-deal Larry Fitzgerald signed in Arizona.

So here’s what should happen. The Cardinals, who are ready to part ways with aging tailback Edgerrin James, should send Boldin to Dallas for running back Felix Jones. The Cards would get a huge upgrade at RB while the Cowboys would give Tony Romo and wideout Roy Williams a needed boost in the passing game.

And if Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt would like a cherry on top of the deal, the Cowobys can throw in wideout Patrick Crayton. The deal makes sense for both teams. Get the bean counters together. If Jerry Jones is as smart as he would have us believe, then he needs to pull the trigger and make this thing happen.

That is the DUMBEST thing I have read all day.

if jerry trades felix i would cut out my cowboys tattoo pour lemon juice on my wound.

pure craziness

Felix could still be a bust, Boldin isn't.
 everytime he touches the ball he could score.

i admit he could be injury prone but not a bust.

The author is a jerk-wad. If we're talking Fitz for Felix Jones then I might start listening.

hahahahahhaha no way sir! Felix for Fitz?? now we're talkin! I'd even entertain Crayton,Choice and a third..but that's not going to do much so no.

looks like they had bored writers in the food section of the paper and one was allowed to write about sports.

i hope they don't let him do it again.
