Do you think Emmitt was better than Barry Sanders? Most Cowboys fans do so I get it. I just think Barry was an Elite running back of the ages. Emmitt was great too but not like Barry Sanders. Did you watch Barry Sanders live? I watched both growing up.

Emmitt definitely had heart and determination. I love Emmitt Smith. Barry Sanders was stuck on a mediocre roster 90% of his career. That had to suck.

Laughable. Emmitt would've been stuffed way more with Detroit's line. There is NO COMPARISON between Detroit's OL of the 90s and Dallas'.

You are arguing what ifs. Emmitt is the GOAT. That's what is. Plus, Emmitt blew Barry out of the water when it came to scoring TDs.

Then that proves Emmitt was better. Emmitt was the engine of the offense. Barry couldn't carry that kind of load. Emmitt made his team much better than it was before he arrived. The Cowboys were 1-15 the year before Emmitt was selected.

No RB in history can compete with Emmitt's accomplishments. Frankly, it's not even close. Barry is a tier down from Emmitt the GOAT. Everybody is a tier down from Emmitt. Emmitt is the Jerry Rice, the Tom Brady of running backs.

I think Sanders was more elusive, faster, and great highlight runs. I think Emmitt was the better RB. He was more consistent, much better blocker, better out of the backfield, better between the tackles, and obviously far better in short yardage. Emmitt was the 100% total package. As good a football player as anyone of us will ever see.

I haven’t heard about any playoff teams reaching out to sign Zeke for their playoff run. Just more BS from the front office. They just can’t admit that he is washed up and they made a mistake by having him on the roster. Why would a playoff team want a slow washed up RB that had issues showing up late for practices?
