If Stephen keeps getting his way with the budget, he'll reap lots of $$$ for his personal betterment. What a racket! :omg:

@GINeric ....Cowboy Lovers have been using this "Bum" trope for Prescott since when Elliot was Suspended..

The Only people NOT on the "Bum" list at that time in 2019 were Fans who could see Dak was over rated

Faulk was IFFY on Philip Rivers:laugh: (Who cares, Why is this Funny?)

This conversation placed in context was after Kirk, Garrapolo, Goff and Wentz set the QB Market...... Thus proving Cowboy Fans correct in their assessment not to pay Dak . . . Not because it was personal but because All of them are a dime a dozen in this "Fast Break" "NBA" NFL. . .

Cowboy Fans do not
just used this "Bum" phase but this phrase sums up Dak perfectly

See full video on Rich Eisen show below for no good reason

There fixed it for you

Every team is on the same cap and fill out their rosters. When you win 12 games you are doing better than the majority of the league no matter how much people bad mouth you.
That's all great and whatever but cash spent is not the same as the cap.

You people should really stop talking about things you don't know or understand.

Timing has a big impact on cash spent analysis. Take two Teams - The Jerrys and the Howies. Go back three years ago.

Let's say both teams had a top DE that signed a $100 million contract three years ago.

Team Jerry structured the deal as such:

2020 - $40 million signing bonus, $15 million base
2021 - $20 million base
2022 - $25 million base

Team Howie structured the deal as such:

2020 - $20 million signing bonus, $15 million base
2021 - $20 million roster bonus, $20 million base
2022 - $25 million base

Both players play out the contract and earned every penny of the contract. In terms of cash, if you look at just the last two years, Team Howie technically spent more cash than Team Jerry. But over the life of the contract, both players were paid the exact same amount of cash. Timing plays a big role in any "cash spent" analysis.

This is honestly such a strange way of judging things that it almost certainly falls under looking for data to justify theories.
It is easily one of the dumbest articles that says absolutely nothing that I have ever read in my life.

Not surprising with cap boy protecting his father's hooker, booze, and illegitimate kid payoff money.

Why should Jerry spend money on any big name FAs or even his own players when he has his cash cow Prescott. The only reason Jerry is holding onto Prescott is it's all about the marketing and putting people in the stands. Dak will never win a NFC championship because he folds against the better teams but hey he is marketable to Jerry but flat out turd as a QB that will get you to a SB.

Some fans are suggesting we go after Payan........lol

The tweet kind of made sense until the guy said that we have the best QB in the NFC. We don't even have the best QB in the NFC East, might even be the third best on any given Sunday...

Dallas and Dak are contenders in the NFC this year. Never say never.

The reason we don’t spend is JJ is trying to build this team like the patriots model. He’s stubborn and thinks he’s smarter than everyone else. What he fails to realize is the pats all those years had elite qb play and coaching. Something this team doesn’t have

If they win 12 games for the 3rd year in a row, then Jerry is on to something.
