The Cowboys made 300 Million last year

As a fan all I care about is my team winning. I couldn't give two squats about how much the owner of my team makes.

That's the difference between you and Jerry....well, between all of us and Jerry. Winning is all we care about; making money is all he cares about.

You should care. It means they have the cash to do some things other cheap owners are not willing to do. You can accuse Jerry of a lot of things, but being cheap with team isn't one of them. It helps attract players with great facilities, it helps when they need to re-do contracts, it helps covering up mistakes and it can help acquiring Free Agents.

I am no longer purchasing anything Cowboys related until something is done about this mediocrity

Does cheap even matter any more? Starting last year the NFL Salary Cap Floor was instituted. I believe that every team has to spend at least 90% of the total cap (if not more).

In terms of salary going forward with the new salary cap minimum, there is almost no difference any more between these teams.

The days of Jerry outspending everyone else is over.

I'm just saying I would rather have an owner flush with cash, than one counting every dollar. The cap floor will have an impact, but it's a 3 year rolling average of cash spent, not necessarily to the cap. Cheaper owners will still find the loopholes needed to stay compliant. But you are right that the NFL as a whole is doing great financially and Dallas' advantage has been lessened.
