Right, so picking up a guy on the street NO ONE ELSE WANTED would have been better

You have no idea if "no one else wanted" him. Suh is at the age where he can choose where he wants to go. He chose to go to a winning team

...shocking.

The point is the Eagles see a need and are at the very least making an attempt to address it. Whether it works out or not who knows but at least they aren’t sitting on their hands while they twittle their thumbs like our brainiacs in the FO.

"We like our guys, and if he was any good why was he available"?

as Jerry pours another glass of JW blue.

The defensive tackle position should have been addressed years ago in draft with a first round pick.

That said there is no way of knowing what Suh has left in the tank and if he has a lot left in the tank whether or not he's willing to apply himself.

He's not always the most motivated individual but when he decides to play he is dominant like he was in the Super bowl when he was on Tampa Bay.

Yeah I think Suh was pretty much a crap shoot so I'm not totally heartbroken but you have to admire the Eagles for trying to do something even if it's wrong where we will just model along and fail again.

Suh is not the guy to do all this handwringing for. He's not a good run stopper. He could have helped us with pressure but that's really an issue.
His stats last year were scary bad versus the run. He had his worst pro season against the run.

I'm not even sure Suh will be active in a few weeks when Davis is back.

I understand wanting to bring in suh as a rotation player or even to bring some nasty to the locker room but what Jerry is saying is true….we aren’t getting gashed up the middle, it’s really the edges.

Jerry deserves a lot of criticism for other things and I have Stephen in clown makeup as my avatar but people here really just complain over nothing more often than not.

Suh wanted to play with Slay again.. and wanted 1 last chance at another ring.

I'm sure if Jerrah would have paid him double what philly did he woulda come here...but money being even, it's hard to blame Suh for going to the team most likely to play in SB from NFC.

What's Jerrah gonna say "we tried to get him, but he preferred another team"? Easier to say he had no interest.

Suh is a HAS BEEN. He was drafted in 2010! Dude's probably good for 5 plays a game.

He started 17 games and played more snaps than any other D lineman (717) on Tampa last year.. Where did you come up with that analysis?
