Touchdowns are not a sure thing. Dak should have scored. The problem is that they threw the ball and stopped the clock. Keep the clock running and you run more time or the Packers are forced to used that final timeout.

You score when you can score.....

This you always take the points. If we only needed 3 points to win, then yes you fall at the one... but needing a TD to take the lead. You take the points when you can get them. What if you fumble on the next play, then what do say.

I've seen it done when a FG would win the game. Never seen it happen when a TD was needed.

Yea. I don't know if it's ever been done or not. It would have worked here in this game though

I have no issue with Dak scoring on that play, you see the end zone, you go in.

My issue is, I think we could have ran it with Elliott and got a first. Then we could have pulled that out of our pocket a few plays later. It was poorly managed, and I blame that on the coaching staff.

I'm not even gonna compare Dak to elite Qb's because it wouldn't be fair. I think the Dalton comparison is more in his range. We must do better at the QB position

Pretty sure his overall numbers in his career stack up well against any QB, so the comparison “not being fair” would only be as a result of your biased cherry picking spin.

I agree...it's never a guarantee to score. But it's on Linehan/JG for calling the passing play on 2nd down...that gave Rodgers the extra 20 seconds he needed to score a TD as opposed to a FG

If you have lead and are running out the clock...sure slide short.
If you only need a FG to win...maybe...maybe slide short.
If you have to score a TD...you score the friggin TD

Wentz has a defense and special teams that actually make plays. Watch the eagles play. Their special teams actually returns the football and their defense actually creates turnovers.
