Eh he's good. Played fine on the road with no weapons against a good D and spotty protection. Sorry guys, you aren't getting rid of him over this one.
Apologies. I was not implying you thought Prescott lost the game. My facts are simply a reflection of what others who agreed with Jones' decision did not consider at the time. I should have been more clear in posting those points. No where in my post did I indicate Prescott was the reason we lost the 2016 divisional game.
One could argue it was short sighted to win 8 games and forget what the team had, with 10 years worth of evidence, sitting on the bench.
My point is one of whether not allowing Romo to come back in 2016 to complete his career, which could have continued into 2017 and/or 2018 if he had stayed healthy, was a mistake. Instead, Romo's career was ended to continue on with something that at the time looked very promising. Whether this was the correct move (not just for 2016) will not be able to be judged until Prescott's career with Dallas is either successful or complete.
In defense of the line, Cam was getting pressured pretty good to. But he stood in the pocket and made some throws. Dak refuses to stand in the pocket.Having your offensive line cave in helps no one.
I kinda get not wanting to mess up the hot streak that season w Dak, but to not even let Romo COMPETE for the job the next season was inexcusable.
You’d rather just go with this offense all year if Dak doesn’t improve? No...you drafted White, you get him in there and get him reps, and see what happens. If he stinks too? You keep drafting till you find your man at QB. What you don’t do,is go...”...the chances are slim.” So what? QBs are high risk anyways....just the way it is,or everyone would have a good one. Rather take a stab on a potential maybe, than keep with a guy if he’s not improving. The chances of White ending up being a franchise QB are very low.
don't get her in a competition with him because she will win... lmaoDude is straight up trash...……...my 8 yr old daughter throwing nerf footballs at Dave and Busters has more accuracy than this scrub.
I feel ya pappy. You get a lot of backlash around here. It’s probably how you present things but hey things don’t look good for Quattro right now
White isn't ready to play. Putting him in now would just ruin him. You’d rather just go with this offense all year if Dak doesn’t improve? No...you drafted White, you get him in there and get him reps, and see what happens. If he stinks too? You keep drafting till you find your man at QB. His rookie season was the same as well if you looked past the wins. The way he “wins” now is the same way he did as a rookie. Very little improvement and teams have figured out how to stop what he was doing as a rookie. He pretty much sucks. I don’t know how many more games you all need. It was apparent last season.
not gonna lose to the giants. what do you wanna betso what will be the excuse next week when they lose or the giants or when they go up to seattle and lose if they don't get it fixed quick this thing will go south really quick
Jones wanted Romo to regain his starting position once he was healthy, it was Garrett and the others that did the ultimate Brutus on him.
He doesn't anticipate breaks. He doesn't throw in rhythm. He has to see a receiver wide open to throw it to him. By the time they're open, it's too late.Curious on your thoughts about how he missed that wide open 12 yard out on 4th and 10 to basically end their last best hope of scoring. After all the back and forth this offseason/preseason and flack you took from his supporters, it seemed kind of poetic that he missed it to basically lose the game.
