I think Dak is bad but there has to be much more wrong here. Ryan Fitzpatrick absolutely torched the Saints today. Ryan Fitzpatrick. Dak is not the answer but the coaches are a bigger problem.
Ha, its not a zero sum game. I see this so often in the NFL.

"________ was so good today. Why can't we have him"

Next week when Dak is 2 TD 0 INT 225 and Fitz gets drilled people won't own these statements.

He was bad, but it doesn’t help when we are going empty set for nearly three quarters.

We’ve seen this before. 2013-prior. Refusal to establish a run game.

Woeful coaching. I’m beside myself at all the empty sets

@gimmesix

5) Abandon run game until it is too late
Can’t establish a run game when you are so predictable your average twitter user can predict the plays.

Run on 1st for short gain? Pass on 2nd.

Incomplete pass/short pass on 1st? Run on 2nd.

Get behind? Pass, pass, pass.

That junk isn’t going to work when they play a good defense that can stop the run they know is coming which will probably be a theme with Williams and Looney manning the middle for a while.

Well yeah, if Dak throws for 225 whole yards...

Just imagine how full the Dak bandwagon will be if the team scores in the double digits.

Romo overcame the bad coaching of Garrett and Linehan all those years. Not a coincidence that when Romo was in Dak’s ear his rookie season - Dak was able to light it up?

Romo leaves and poof - Dak can’t make reads, can’t read the D.

Dak has a lot of issues, mainly accuracy but this coaching staff is giving him no help at all.

Receivers were open all game. Troy has to make excuses because he's a Dak guy.

Romo would have had 300 yards and 28+ points today easily with the same group.

Dude just Stop , The last time Romo played the Panthers He got pick 6ed twice and threw back to back INTs , then got knocked out of the game .
We had a total of 6 points when he left . Build the legend in your Diary not here LOLOL

Whats most concerning about dak is it seems he isn't getting better. An elite type qb or a franchise guy gets better year to year. Look at guys like Goff and wentz, Mahomes was good today. Trubitsky just led a nice drive vs the packers. I think darnauld with the jets is going to be very good.

I get the panthers are tough. However this is a make or break year for dak. You cannot give him a long term contract if he's bad. You can't allow him to be the starter if he's bad. This team needs a franchise qb.

Not pushing for a replacement yet, I just can't understand why the Cowboys didn't get a better backup. If Cooper Rush is you're backup plan, then you don't have a backup or a plan. RG3 was there for the taking, Jerry. Why, Why,Why not pick him up???

White isn't ready to play. Putting him in now would just ruin him.
First it’s he’s a long shot, then it’s ruining him by playing him if Dak doesn’t improve? I see no downside to it. I’d rather get the kids feet wet and see if there’s something there, than just doing nothing as the ship sinks slowly to the abyss.

What's troubling is I think Dak is at his best when rolling out or after escaping the pocket after it breakdown.

Problem is you can't have prolonged success as QB if those are your strengths.

Well maybe after we're eliminated. I wanted Cooper Rush to play late last year too so I guess it doesn't make a difference.

Defenses started clogging the middle last year after they realized Dak couldn't attack the sideline. Then Beasley Dez and Witten 'declined' all in the same year.

Dak throw towards the side 10+ yards once on that 4th down play and missed high. If he can add that throw to his game everything changes. Things stay the same until he can.

IF we lose to the giants the season is over
I think even in a loss if the offense improves they still got a chance. It’s really an ugly looking offense right now though. Boy do they got things to resolve. My gosh...and I thought the gas I had last night was bad. These guys today? Allll windows and doors open stinky.
