They're trying to call what Dak can do. He just can't do much.I think the reason why he's having success with that is because of how poor this offense is. These guys can't get open and these route trees suck. So he has to buy time with his legs or pray the offensive line holds up so someone can get free. That's where Romo excelled too. Let's remember that this offense wasn't that great with Romo until he would escape and freestyle. IT wasn't because he had a great offensive play written up for him.
Romo excelled from the pocket. Dak does not.
Receivers are plenty open, but you have to throw before the break, not after. This is the NFL, not the SEC. The route trees are the same for all 32 teams.
