In the regular season, the defense faced passers with ratings that ranked them like this going into each game:

Manning --
Cousins 27th
Hoyer --
Gabbert 30th
Dalton 13th
Rodgers 17th
Wentz 16th
Kessler 14th
Roethlisberger 17th
Flacco 29th
Cousins 10th
Bradford 10th
Manning 22nd
Winston 20th
Stafford 11th
Wentz 25th

None was higher than 10th going into that game. Rodgers finished the season ranked 4th.

Somebody has to win the game and Rodgers has carved up better defenses for worse recently. Just something we need to work on - we all knew that coming into this season and this game.

The defensive line is and has been terrible for years, it needs to be addressed with some top end disruptive talent especially inside

Would have had problems with Matt Ryan and Tom Brady too. Maybe if we were playing the Texans and the Chiefs were the offenses aren't as good.

Of course but Rodgers mobility just makes it a lot worse of a matchup.

We were scared to death to blitz him for 2 quarters.

Who can we get here to be an elite pass rusher? Are there any trade ideas, anything? Please don't tell me we will see the same lack of pressure next year.

Anybody else think Rodgers was winding up for a Hail-Mary on that last pass that he ultimately threw to Cook?

Same old sad story we've been dealing with every time we make the playoffs, the defense can't make critical stops. We did enough offensively to win today but we couldn't stop the Packers when the game was on the line.
