After watching last nights game, and basically every Denver game this season. I am extremely scared of playing them, regardless of being at home. I really think we need to beat SD next week just to stay at 2-2. Anyone have thoughts on the game? Because Peyton looks like he is on a MISSION this season. And when they get von miller back its going to be even worse.

While I don't see us winning that game, we've got the talent make it a game if all cylinders are firing.

Denver is a very good team and it will be a very difficult task but as saying goes on any given Sunday....

We always seem to give Manning a hard time. I think we will again. I'm not feeling a blow out.

But that team is winning the Super Bowl this year. They should have won it last year.

Right now only concened with San Diego. They have got some very good weapons on offense and while they are 1-2 they have been in every game thus far and they have all gone down to the wire.

Different teams, but I remember an undefeated Colts team with the same QB a number of years ago. As i recall, that one went alright for us.

At New Orleans as well a few years ago.

But yes, the far greater concern is the San Diego game.
Lose that one (about a 50-50 shot) and things could start going downhill fast. Win it and at the very worst Dallas is 3-2 after Denver, with dreams of 4-1.
In the end, with both games being out of conference, they have equall value.

I've never liked Denver, they have such a big homefield advantage with the altitude: visitors can't sleep, can't breath, muscles can't recover. That's why they have won so many comeback wins.

I much rather watch Dallas play these "supposed to lose" games. I feel it gives the team a little less pressure and we usually preform a little better in my opinion (I.E the 09 Saints game). We will see! I really hope we are 3-1 going in though, haha.

doesnt that scare you? It scares me ... Scandrick cant cover him.

Scandrick has problems with spare 3rd receivers from most teams. Now you are asking him to cover one of the quickest and most effective WR in the league.

Good luck with that

Can we talk about San Diego? :)

The Cowboys are going to be in a real dogfight this Sunday so they better be prepared. If the d-line does not play with the same urgency they played with against the Rams, Rivers will carve them up.

No scandrick has looked good this year. Carr size is not a great match with a quick slot man like Welker. However I think given the defense Dallas runs you will see Lee and Carter undercuting some of the slants Peyton throws to Welker. For me since Dallas plays a lot of zone coverage it is not about stopping the short pass it is making him pay the price for catching it.

All Dallas has to do is keep Denver's offense off the field as best they can. Have long, sustained drives that lead to TD's, not FG's. I know, easier said then done but that is the key.

We can't turn the ball over at all. We need a favorable time of possession and a lot of pressure up front. I think Dallas will surprise some people and keep it close if not win.

But first, go out and beat SD, hope they are not looking past them.

I agree about not overlooking SD. They have had some close heartbreaking losses but that offense can put up points and you figure they will be fighting like hell at home to get back to the 500 mark.
