It's a good thing you don't play for the Cowboys. There are 11 grown men standing between the Bronco's and the endzone and you better believe they are not going to get walked on by Manning or anyone else. You think Ware, Hatcher, Lee, Carter, Carr, and Church are going to be intimidated? We'll see how scary the Denver offense is when Hatcher and Ware meet at the QB every other down.

Look, i didnt start this thread to be made fun of, I am just as die hard of a fan of the cowboys then the next guy. All im saying is, we are not playing Peyton manning from his Indy days. This man is possessed this season is all im saying. I am scared of playing him, not because i think we will lose or anything of the sort, i have the confidence we will win the game, because the cowboys this year look very good as of now. What worries me is that, manning carved up new york a week after we allowed them back into the game. Now i know you cant go based on past games. I am just trying to say that Manning is on a mission this year, and i dont see many teams stopping him. I do however hope, WE are the ones to stop him.

I think Manning is a great QB no doubt a HOF QB to be. Denver has done very good but they too have weakness. They are the 30th ranked pass defense in the NFL and 17th in points allowed. Myself I look forward to the game I see it as a great challenge for this team.

doesnt that scare you? It scares me ... Scandrick cant cover him.

Scandrick has problems with spare 3rd receivers from most teams. Now you are asking him to cover one of the quickest and most effective WR in the league.

Good luck with that

Scandrick actually did very very well against welker the last time we played him.

Right now only concened with San Diego. They have got some very good weapons on offense and while they are 1-2 they have been in every game thus far and they have all gone down to the wire.

Exactly. Worry about Denver when they're next.

Scandrick shut down Welker last time we played the Pats. He is arguably one of the most underrated members of our team.

Yeah, I'm not really feeling a win here either, but at home and win a very good defense, we probably have the best chance to win out of the NFC East.

Peyton Manning is further defining how to play the QB position this year. It's going to be tough to beat them this year.

What has this team done to be able to look ahead of anyone?

Man, Jimmy was right on Sunday...

Cowboys fans and Cowboys are not one in the same. Dallas players have not been talking about Denver only the fans and last time I checked fans did not play the games.

Really?

Because this was Welker's stat line the last time Scandrick was responsible for covering him:

6 receptions, 45 yards

All this scared talk is hilarious. There's nothing to be scared of. Focusing on the Chargers is the most important task right now.

You guys make the Denver Broncos sound like world beaters. Have they really been tested by a good team this year? They can be beaten and the game in 2 weeks will prove that they are not invincible.

I think we match up well with Denver. They key is to pressure Manning up the middle, don't allow him to step up and see the field clearly. The way Hatch is playing I think that will happen pretty routinely in that game. The second part to that is to not allow their WR clean releases for the quick timing patterns that Manning likes to use to beat pressure. Our CBs, Carr and Mo, are both physical corners at the line and should be able to re route the WRs or at least get their timing off some. I would expect us to play a lot more press in the Denver game that we have thus far. Scan did a great job on Welker last time we played. I think he will again and with Carter and Lee sitting underneath and Wilcox and Church over the top, Welker will not have a free run of the middle of the field that he did last night in Oakland.

On offense, we should be able to run on them. There front is not as good as the Rams' front, imo. Our TEs should be the focal point of the passing attack, Denver LBs will not be able to cover them in the seam and I expect the safeties to be shaded to Dez to help with there. The slot WR will also be involved a good bit as well. We will use short patterns to the slot and TE to move the chains and eat clock.

I actually think we win this game, as long as we don't turn the ball over.

Call me crazy, but I think the Dallas matches up extremely well with Manning and the Broncos. They will need to generate pressure to keep Manning from picking them apart, but if they can get there then this game could be a very competitive one.

Exactly, i don't know where all of this fear is coming from. Of course they looked unstoppable against the Raiders last night. It was the raiders. They couldn't generate any pressure and Manning had a field day. We're better than Oakland in every facet of the game.
We lead the league in time of possession right now. We have proven we can generate a pass rush, and they just lost their starting LT.
We have tremendous speed in our LB corps. We have solid CB's and our safeties are playing great.
Romo can put up big numbers, he's no Peyton Manning but our O-Line is looking good, and if you give Romo time he WILL score on you.

I'm not scared of Denver at all. I respect them, but i'm not just rolling over and following all of this hype. you guys are crazy.
