True, but they have a ton of pressures and QB hits. That's just as important.

Micah is back there all game.

I just think QBs have decided to get it out quick no matter what.

AGree. They seem to be getting the ball out in under 2 seconds and shorter throws rather than waiting for long developing plays

He actually is. He can be both. But he's better at LB and being a chess piece.

He CAN play DE, but why put him there where is simply good when he can be great playing LB and impact the game more? I think injuries to Dorrance and Sam have maybe forced him into that role, but he is being neutralized by some pretty mediocre tackles and chip blocks. Quinn has made it too easy to game plan for him.

DEs, especially the Parsons-Sam Williams comb, are getting pressure.
They're providing good outside push.
But we're getting nothing from our DTs, allowing the quarterback to step up into the middle, where a DT SHOULD be there to greet the quarterback. :(

Bros, I posted this within another thread but I don't want it buried.

Yes, I know our DTs are even worse but there's no hope for them. They have no talent. Our DEs on the other hand do and have been a ghost for over a month.

Over the last 5 games Micah, Lawrence, Armstrong, Fowler and Sam I Am Williams have combined for a grand total of 2 sacks.

Not only is that unacceptable but if it continues it makes a playoff run impossible. They have to get it corrected and get it corrected now.
Yup, this is the key to defeating to the Bucs. Our DEs need to wake up. Otherwise Brady will pick on #25, #26, #1 all game.
Nothing is wrong with our DEs. The issue is DT. Brady does not give a care about DE pressure because he can step up in the pocket and has a quick release. Why? Because, we have no inside rush/pressure.

If he is picking on the CBs it is because he can see clearly downfield. That is not side vision from a DE rush. That is front vision from no DTs in his face. The Cowboys have not had a DT go to the Pro Bowl or have double digit sacks since Jason Hatcher (his nephew is a beast for the Titans).

The front of the D needs to play better
Not just the edge but inside too
Get Armstrong and Micah some rest this week is a start
But inside needs more push and play better
Hankins coming back will help

100% correct, Risen!!!

Cowboys need to draft a difference maker at NT/DT this upcoming draft. Definitely a huge need.

Well, Parsons isn't a DE, so there is something. Play him at the position he was drafted for. Get Armstrong cooking again.

We’re still getting a good amount of pressures but i think teams have adjusted by getting the ball out quick.

If we get the Bucs Brady is the king of getting the ball out quick. If the pass rush isn’t strong and Quinn doesn’t have a solid game plan he’ll shred us.
Was watching this week's episode of Hard Knocks (Tampa vs AZ), and they had a scene were Watt quickly bulls his way through the line and gets to Brady as he throws the ball. Watt told him "Damn, you get that ball out quick!". lol
