Why would this upset you?
He wasn't game ready until just a couple weeks ago. Maybe they were waiting to see he was back to top form.
If you followed Ajayi like I have...then you would know he was recovering from knee surgery....he's had a lot of workouts/visits...he was just looking for the right opportunity w/ a contender. I can't blame him. Seems to be working for him...since he's got one super bowl ring to his credit.
This is believing what you want and ignoring what we know. If a team was convinced he was going to be a standout once he was “game ready” they could have signed him and put him on IR the first part of the season. As it is, what we know is even when he was in his top form it wasn’t better than Zeke, and it’s been 3 years and multiple injuries and an ACL surgery since he was in top form.
I can understand this as a reason to sign him as depth and to see how he can progress, but how does this support the idea that he is suddenly going to be better than Zeke? Surely you don’t think the Eagles or any other NFL team believes that.Well they wouldn't know how his knee healed, would they? That's probably what they were waiting to see.
While Nick Foles is severely overrated amongst many cowboy fans, nobody can deny the Eagles are paying the price for signing 246-year-old players like Sproles. Been a complete nonfactor for the last 3 years.Sproles was always a tough assignment...
Nick Foles still with Jags? ✓
Probably the only FA that can get this version of the current Eagles roster over the hump.
Eagles will get their version of Amari Cooper for Wentz next Off-season. Ajay won't change much..
