I just dont think we get aggressive when we have special group...

We are still trying to build a dynasty that will last decades! Instead of winning a Super bowl in the next year or two....like say 2014 when we had a great formula just needed a defensive piece or two and keep it going

If i could tell you hey would you like to win a super bowl every 6 to 8 years? or have a really good run with say two in a row then bottom out with mediocrity for 20 years? Which would you take

You realize in a perfect world of probabilities your favorite team would win the super bowl 1 time every 32 years?

If you get a chance to shoot you can't leave a bullets in the clip.

He is a hell of a lot better than Ginger.

8 years on the job and one wild card win...................results like that get you fired everywhere but Dallas.
I would take JG. The Sheagles lucked into a Superbowl.

Yeah, thats a defensible position coming off a super bowl win. :lmao: If he's not a good coach, then who the heck is? Is Belechek the only good coach? Pederson has already accomplished more than most coaches will in their lifetime.
If you understand what actually happened you get that the SB was a stroke of good luck. Their QB didn't provide good tape until the NFC championship game. You really think that Bellichick is that bad against a backup?

Clearly, you are the one who doesn't get it. But no law against being delusional.

Interesting read... love an aggressive, smart front office. Hate that it's the Eagles.

The Cowboys FO is way too passive IMO. We either are too optimistic about our own players (SEE Tight End and Safety) or poor at self-evaluation. Smart teams use all avenues of talent acquisition. Building through the draft should be the basis of your strategy, but not your only strategy.

Flame on!

"Roseman started in Philadelphia as an entry-level salary cap specialist. He studied value and the cap, but he almost immediately also became consumed with studying tape — learning both ends of the game. “Trying to be progressive, looking for the smallest competitive advantage he could,” Banner said."

sounds just like the Cowboys GM

I know football and I know all Bellichick had was several games of bad tape on Foles and one good game. This is either true or is not. Anyone that Saturday otherwise would be delusional

The Eagles have rebuilt twice, resulting in a Super Bowl, while Dallas has been rebuilding since Red took over. Anyone else notice how quick other teams rebuild?

I'd also like to throw luck into the Eagles process and remove luck from the Cowboys process.

They got a bunch last year, we did not have any in 2016 postseason, and 2017 was a nightmare from jumpstreet.

Yet you don't deny what I said was true.

I am completely denying your entire take on the super bowl and Eagles season. Luck doesn't win super bowls. It was a master class in play calling by Pederson. It was an amazing performance by Foles. The awards and accolades speak for themselves. If you want to be the guy with a nutty opinion, have at it.

Then the conversation is over because what I said is fact.

You mean Frank Reich offensively had that offense playing well, along with that Dcord last year, along with Howie doing everything possible to get it done..

This season is for real, No weak schedule, several players out, and moved on..Now we find out what kind of Coach Pederson is..

OK, the Eagles did a great job. However, I don't really think it means they have mastered the process. The won one Super Bowl. Over the last 8 years they had only made the playoffs once before last year and that was a one and done as a wild card team. Let's see them put a few more years together as a top team before crowning them as some kind of geniuses.

Just me but my frustration with the Cowboys ( mostly Stephen Jones )

**don't feel a sense of urgency

**waaay too financially conservative in acquiring needed quality talent and I'm not talking about going for big-time free agents but damn you have to spend a little to get quality. Stephen seems downright stingy at times

He's like the polar opposite extreme of his father. Way too conservative and passive. Would rather save pennies and nickels rather than win championships.

No Romo, Witten, Bryant and Bailey. We will find out what Garrett is really made of.
