No Romo, Witten, Bryant and Bailey. We will find out what Garrett is really made of.
I thought you already knew!

Just me but my frustration with the Cowboys ( mostly Stephen Jones )
**don't feel a sense of urgency
**waaay too financially conservative in acquiring needed quality talent and I'm not talking about going for big-time free agents but damn you have to spend a little to get quality. Stephen seems downright stingy at times
Then the conversation is over because what I said is fact.
Interesting read... love an aggressive, smart front office. Hate that it's the Eagles.
The Cowboys FO is way too passive IMO. We either are too optimistic about our own players (SEE Tight End and Safety) or poor at self-evaluation. Smart teams use all avenues of talent acquisition. Building through the draft should be the basis of your strategy, but not your only strategy.

Flame on!
Silent! This isn’t really a comparison with the Cowboys, is it? It’s about the Eagles, and we’re supposed to just fill in the blanks with the same bull**** were always guessing about with Dallas and how that’s bad.
Ah, yes! Fantasy land.Where were all of these great orations about the Eagles last year? They were saying Pederson was a substandard coach and Wentz looked like he had a long ways to go. The Eagles are the flavor of the month and not nearly as good as some people think. At this time last year the Cowboys FO was getting praise for having a top running back and quarterback on rookie deals and rebuilding the secondary in one draft. If Dallas wins the division this year while Philly finishes at .500 then next summer the articles will be all about the great future of the Cowboys and the questionable decisions of the Eagles.
It's all about the flavor of the month.

Eagles have a ring, we're years away from one.
Wonder if you watched All or Nothing last season.
It was pretty clear Cowboys as a franchise is Jones' family business first. What was Jones' doing the day before they play Seattle? In Jerrry World, they were having a Texas High School Champ game Stephen's son plays QB. It was an emotional night for Jones' family, but how much effort and focus was left for next day's Cowboys game where season is on the line? Don't tell me that's not a distraction.
They appear to be very eager to win, however deep down, it is more or less a family business. We care about this football team, but Jones care very little about fans.
The coaches are there to do their job, players went there to earn money. It is one of the best franchise to work for in NFL for them, not so much to win championship.
There is only one team that made more trades than the Eagles, your hatred for this pewtrid team makes you blind, they got very good players from trades and Fa acquistions.Where were all of these great orations about the Eagles last year? This is rich, the Law of Averages finally catch up to the Eagles and they win a Super Bowl. They have now mastered the NFL! Just stop.
All they did was reduce the echo in their Super Bowl Trophy room.
They beat Atlanta when Matt Ryan couldn't complete a pass from the Eagle 2 yard line with a minute left. They took the lead in the Super Bowl against the Patriots with two minutes left. They deserve credit for those great wins but did they "master" these two teams?
It was their turn to win a Super Bowl decades ago and the Cowboys took it for them. Sooner or later mathematical probability is going to have to be satisfied. That's the only thing the Eagles did last season.
Silent!
Men are talking.
Example of a fact is Nick Foles only had one good game on film from last season going into the Superbowl. Then you don't know the difference between a fact and a baseless opinion.
Yes, it is tough to overcome. Jerry can sell the heck out of 8-8.With Jerry and Garrett being content with mediocrity, that's a tough hurdle to over come.
Now Jerry has another priority..... investing into the casino business....The game of football in Jerry's mind has dropped another rung on the ladder.
