Apparently, you have a reading comprehension problem.
Your comments to my original post were about comparing Brees first 4 years to Dak's first 4 years and so on, but here's the thing...I NEVER mentioned Dak in my post!!!
You decided to go off on some rant about the 2016 draft and how Jerry wanted Wentz at #4...NOT TRUE!
Jerry TRIED to move up and get Lynch? Well, it didn't happen because apparently Jerry REFUSES (key word) to do what it takes in terms of offering draft capital or players etc when it comes to getting QB's high in the draft...and that was my point.
Now, here you are patting yourself on the back because you think you "rebuffed" my original post in this thread (which was a response to another poster btw) is like a joke and just utter nonsense! I mean...don't you get that?
Here's my original post...read it again.

"Quincy was drafted at 53 and I don't really consider that to be a premium pick for a QB.
I think if you can't get your QB in the 1st round, then you trade to the top of the 2nd (like Chargers with Brees) and make sure you get the best QB left.
However, Jerry simply refuses to do that when drafting QB's, even though it's the most important position.

Can you imagine if Brees was a Cowboy all this time?"

Where did I mention Dak or Romo?
Where did I mention the 2016 draft at all?
When did I use the word "never" in my post?

When did Jerry trade up to draft a QB in the second round or the first round for that matter? It never happened dude...you want me to give Jerry his props for trying?
I don't know why you responded to my post above the way you did. I really think your the one that's disconnected and confused.
Fair enough. Have a good one

Jimmy G squeaked out last minute wins by field goal because Kittle and Samuel broke tackles. Not because of some great heroics. Jimmy ain’t %#!t. Cut it out.

LOL cool, so I guess we have to cut out all the Dak "4th quarter comebacks" that were just FGs. Well, there goes about 99% of his 4th quarter heroics.

You just played yourself, boy.

Did you have a terrible upbringing or some deep insecurity and bigotry hidden in you. How can you speak like that to a true gentleman like keysersoze?

No doubt, at least not where there aren’t other people around to witness lol

That being said, I’ve been here a week and your thinly veiled references are really obvious even to someone like me. It was about the third post that I read by you where I first saw it and now there are one or two more every day.

That type of thing really degrades you’re ability to convince others to see your side of things and really deteriorate the vibe by introducing an element to the forum isn’t helping us talk about football.

It’s not a good look and I think you can do better.

Tony Robbins?

Nah, just been on message boards for many, many years and I’m always disappointed when people try to tear down rather than build up.

trust me, I’m no angel, but I try to make positive assumptions and be a team player

Like I said before. If you toss a brick into a pack of dogs the one that hollers is the one that you hit. If there are none of those feelings being expressed in the posts then why would anyone get offended? I have not accused anyone of anything on a singular bases. My comments were speaking in general. Not to anyone in particular. So if anyone is upset they are guilty. Straight like that.

That’s simply not true. It’s illogical

  1. You are bothered by a person shouting “FIRE” in a crowded theater when there is none
  2. You must be a secret arsonist

Here’s another one perhaps more applicable ...
  1. You observe that another person appears to be acting on a hidden agenda,
  2. You must surely have a hidden agenda of your own.

The first thing doesn’t necessarily make the other thing true.

We’re both old men and I’m sure this back and forth will change nothing for either of us, but it would be great if there was less of that type of divisive commentary going on.

We all love the Cowboys here. Anyone who is hating on another poster because of which players are their favorites (or not) isn’t productive.

I loved Romo and I love Dak

I’m part of two different “mobs” now when I didn’t even know you guys had “mobs” to begin with. And, apparently, liking each of these awesome Cowboys comes with all kinds of baggage that is apparently more important than anything that happens on the field.

I refuse to carry the baggage.

I don’t like it and have been disappointed to see it so often.

A person can take issue with someone yelling fire in a theater. It doesn’t mean they are secretly an arsonist.

So why are you speaking to me directly when there are many others out there who are the ones being divisive? Yea. I’m calling them out on it because I know the bs when I see it. I can read it when it isn’t written. I can smell it. I know very well what the crap means. So I think you’d be better off saving your spiel for the ones who call themselves fans, but hate our quarterback for doing the same things their favorite choice did during his tenure. It’s biased and hypocritical. We all know Dak has not done anything to warrant the hate he receives from so called lifelong fans. It’s ridiculous. I understand some people not being sold on Dak. Ok. That’s an opinion. But the pure hatred of that man is something totally different. Whether you try to Candy coat it or not.

Just calling it out here because of the slick comments that are being slipped in here and there. Trust me, if I see people doing it the other way, I’ll call that out too.

anyone who hates on Dak, or his fans, for any reason other than what he doe on the field, or in public have some serious issues

anyone who hated on Romo for the flip side of that coin have issues of their own.

not saying you are either one of those because I know from your posts that you’re like me. You love them both... but ... when we hate on the fans that hate just to hate ... well things just never end up in a good place

like I said here and in another post I think you have good ideas about football and I like reading them but the other stuff just takes away from it

now, if you want to storm the walls of Jericho and fight the good fight, knock yourself out but I’m not sure this is the best place to do that.

have a good night!

I’m absolutely sure you fit he description. Keyboard Warrior. Lol

Double Yawn. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't say half the stuff you post either. That's the beauty of the internet.

anyone ever tell you your avatar selfie kind of looks like Nate Newton after he had that stomach stapling surgery?

Being totally serious. Not trying to troll you. Every time I see that photo, that's the first thing that pops into my mind.

So what about the myriad of Dak critics who lavish praise and desire for Patrick Mahomes?
What are we to make of that, as far as your paradigm you're trying to fit all of Dak's critics into?

So if someone takes exception to something said about them that isn't true, that proves their guilt?

LOL. That's certifiably insane.

Would you really consider Garoppolo as being a better QB than Dak?
Without a doubt!
I'm not sure I'd go that far. I would say that they're pretty even.
Share whatever it is you are puffing or drinking
The one thing Garoppolo has that Dak didn't this year was an elite defense and a team committed to running it down their opponents throats.
....and accuracy, the ability to throw a receiver open, not to mention being able to hit a receiver in stride consistently
But in terms of overall QB play I see him having slightly better pocket awareness than Dak has, also seems to rely on his legs a bit more than Dak has recently, and that's about it.
again, have another hit or tug on whatever good stuff you are smoking or drinking
This is in no way a knock on Garoppolo because I think he's a very good QB but I wouldn't exactly say that he's better.
most logical people would say he is not only better, but WAY better
In fact, among a lot of 9ers fans locally that I speak with you'll hear many of the same criticisms of him as you would Dak but at the end of the day the common theme is that he just finds a way to win.
probably thise same 9er fans that wanted Steve Young over Joe whatshisname

I would definitely say EVERYTHING in your face. Why? Because I seriously doubt you could whip me and/or do anything about it. You’d have to be some kind of martial arts specialist to even have a snowballs chance in hell. Really.
What you think of my pic means absolutely nothing to me. I guarantee you that Ives turned down more women than you’ve been accepted by. FACTS!!!
