They could possibly lose 4 in a row here, though I think the Chargers and Rams are possible wins.

That would doom McCarthy asap and elevate Quinn to head coach. Not sure if they'd Trey Lance the rest of the season for draft picks, but not likely.

But here's the deal. The 49ers will crush the Eagles, too. It's going to get interesting.
The Eagles will play the niners a LOT closer. The Eagles are much more physical and disciplined than us and have s nuch better run game and a QB who can run

I guess I am the only one who believe the end of Dak came against Atlanta in November 2017 when he was sacked 8 times--6 by Adrian Clayborn. That was after his successful rookie year just riding high. The Falcons used him as a tackling dummy. That was his welcome to the NFL moment. That bravado has never come back even though he has had some good games.

I'm not sure of the answer but I do know one thing for sure. Backup or starter, the next guy taking snaps at QB had better be MOBILE. No more statues. Standing in one spot gets you killed against the good teams. Imagine a Lamar Jackson type QB in Dallas as a reclamation project. Much, much more dangerous than Dak. Nobody open....boom...15-20 yd run.
All the mobile guys are getting killed though.

Remember when Jerry said that Jason Garrett would have no problem finding work as a HC in the NFL? Yeah, he feels the same about Rayne. There isn't one team in the NFL that looks at Dak Prescott and says, "That's my guy." Jerry and his dumbo circus have always overvalued their own talent.

didnt san fran score on their first two drives?
No 1st drive they scored, next Dallas offense went three and out. Dallas defense held and forced a punt, Dallas offense three and out again, Dallas defense holds again and forces a punt, Dallas offense fumble in our red zone on and only had ball for 46 sec. Then defense bailed. Our offense again and Joudan Lewis recovered a fumble on our 1 yard line. So to answer your question the defense was fine just like the last game but quit when Dak kept showing no signs of improvement and they were gassed

I was one of his biggest supporters here. Guy has fallen apart over the past 1.25 seasons. He has lost a lot of athleticism. Can’t scramble at all. Looks really stiff too. Add to that that his confidence is shot and you have a cooked QB. There is no way they can extend him. Frankly I don’t care what he does the rest of the season. His skills are rapidly deteriorating and NO ONE will try to sign him.
Those aren’t even the worst regressions. His ball placement is terrible and his field vision might be worse. He stares down one WR and misses the mark by 5 yards.

Teams with elite QBs being the contenders in the playoffs is not a new concept.

There are two ways to win Championships in the NFL - have consistent Top-5 QB play, or luck into one a la 2007 Giants or 2012 Ravens.
One of my points is that teams could win playoff games with average QBs up until the early 2000s, when the rules actually ruined the chance for almost every team to win with an average QB at the helm. I don’t think we would fair much better with most any other QB in the league. I think the NFL is putting out a subpar product and I hope they can work with the NCAA to improve the likelihood of QBs transitioning and being successful in the NFL.

It's not over in the front office or Jerrys eyes so it doesn't matter what the fans think

This one game pushes the needle for fans. Really. They didn’t realize what we already had. Shame on them.

Or are they more upset Jethro has sold them another empty bill of goods buying into the hype around this team. Some fans will never learn.

To Jerry, Dak "fit the suit."

And, if we know anything about this owner/GM, he will never, ever admit to a mistake.

Absent divine, miraculous intervention, I don't see how Dak rebounds from this disastrous public vote of no-confidence.

I agree about the poor QB play, but are you saying Purdy is elite? He's not.
Purdy has already passed several big tests. He has returned to form after a significant injury and he has outperformed Jimmy G as a comparison. He’s extremely consistent. He clearly wants to put in the time to improve his mechanics and understanding of the game. He is the 5th best qb in the league.

They are stubborn. It took them 10 years to get rid of Garrett. Most of us knew it after 2 or 3 years.
Jerry pretty much listens to the masses. Most of the media was for Dak getting his last deal. He got it. Most of the media was for him paying Zeke (they were wrong…but he made the deal happen). Most of the media was for him getting Martin signed after Jerry ‘tried’ to play hard ball with his comments…he caved and gave Martin what he wanted.

If most of the media is saying to bail on Dak, Jerry will. Jerry pays attention to what direction the wind is blowing. He is selling hope…and hope makes him money. He thinks he is in a no lose situation as long as he pays attention to the masses.

It’s no way to run a team, but that’s what he does

I’m shocked by those who believed Dak would miraculously save us . I thought our defense was supposed to make the difference this season. Lol

Wanna bet? I will take eagles and 30 points.

He's an idiot and Jerry's even worse for giving him that much money.
