The entire Defense needs to be called out

......and I don't want to hear how they only allowed 13 point to opponents the last 2 game. They have failed to make key stops when it matters most and they don't have any excuse! We all believed Hardy and McClain were the missing key pieces and once they returned, our defense would be a top defense. That hasn't happened. We all thought just maybe our health defense could pick up the slack an win us a game or two. That hasn't happened. Lee is made of glass and needs to retire. There is no excuse for McClain to be overweight and out of shape. No excuse for the coaches to allow that. No Excuse for them not being prepared for the Eagles fast paced offense. Crawford I stealing money as is Church. Marinelli has the talent but has failed to have them playing to their potential. Someone needs to rip some anus!

Marinelli needs to go. I'm tired of the flagrant misuse of corners. We have man to man press corners and how many time is this moron playing zone? This hustling mentality is great and all, but how many times are defensive players over pursuing? How many times do we get overloaded to one side and then get gashed the other way? It's happened time and time again. That's on the coach. We were having success with the 3-2-5 and went way from it. We had success early blitzing and went away from it. You know we had to get pressure up the middle against Bradford. His man crush for Hayden is disturbing. Dude is the worst DT in the league. **** Rod. Go take your bend and break defense somewhere else.

If our defense were playing at this same level AND getting turnovers consistently, I'd be really pleased with them.

Idk but some of this is a conditioning issues. They are getting gassed in the second half. You gotta take a look at the CBA and how much these coaches are limited in that aspect. When ur only allowed to practice so many days in a week and install a game plan, you can't really condition the players. Seems like install the game plan or condition. They have one true stud on defense and that's Hardy the rest are JAG's. I could say Lee who is snake bitten is a stud when healthy and Jones is maybe one in the making but other than that it's average at best. With all this being said them being gassed is not a recipe for success.

Posts like this make me scratch my head. They showed a very telling graphic in yesterdays game. And that was yards and points by quarters for the defense. This defense gives this offense 3 quarters to win the game. They basically give up minimal in the first 3 quarters. But to anybody who watches the game and remembers after for the first 3 quarters in every game this yr, the defense has given the offense the chance to run away with every single game. Even that Patriots game. Dallas defense dominated until late in the 3rd quarter. They get gassed because this offense cant sustain drives. You cant keep sending your defense out there with 3 and outs and expect them to hang for 4 quarters. This defense is ranked 14th in the nfl. And thats with a horrible offense. Thats pretty amazing. I dont think people realize just how bad this team has been on offense. Clearly this poster doesnt. If you take anything away from my post, you remember this. This defense has to play the perfect game, because the offense and special teams make so many mistakes. Cassell played a good game but what probably kept this team from winning the game regulation? could it be that pick 6 he gift wrapped?

I think Rod should maybe just be a line coach. He was great at that. It's one thing to coach up a particually group on defense and another to actually have to design a defensive scheme and call plays.

I'd agree with this for the most part. Hilarious people just excusing two pick sixes in the last three games and acting like the defense is the sole reason we lost. This team isn't good enough to just gift teams points like that. Not a lot of turnovers. Well when teams can play safe against you because you can't make them pay for it that's what you get. Why do you think average defenses like the Packers and the Patriots get a lot of turnovers. They can pin their ears back because those offenses go up by huge margins.

That excuse was good last week. The offense won the time of possession and score 27 points. The defenses has failed to make a stop at the most crucial times in the 4th quarter on several games. The offense has been has struggled without Romo and Dez. It's times like these that you need the defense to step up. So far they have failed in the 4th quarter every game.

No doubt the pick six hurt. But what about the 20 other points? When we needed a stop in overtime they started at the 15 yard line, on a 1st and 15. The defense allowed them to go 85 yards. Why because they were out of gas and unprepared. Sure the offense sucks. But we all knew that was going to happened when we lost Romo. The defense has NO excuse. Accept for the weak ones your trying to bring up that don't hold water.

When it's mattered the most in the fourth....they have failed.
