I remember when we drafted him. I thought it was a reach, but at least we got 3 solid years out of him. This will go down as another secondary player we drafted that never ended up doing anything for us. It's quite a long list.

According to who? Why draft after the 2nd round if none are expected to contribute.

A player drafted that late has a relatively low probability of succeeding in the first place. Call him a "bust" and you ignore the base rate probability of not doing anything as a 4th round pick. That's what people with poor critical thinking skills do.

Stephen Jones said yesterday that IR was a possibility which indicates they considered it. He can't return to the NFL for the duration of his injury settlement.

We didn't keep him around for 3 years without high expectations. I think the term is relative. Bust = disappointment and a wasted pick. The Cowboys were expecting more. So was I. I call it a bust. All that effort put into making him a player down the drain.
