It was a nice way to start the season. I saw a lot of good and was impressed with the defense. They absolutely harassed Watson. I know the Browns had Oline issues, but that's what you're suppose to do against an Oline having trouble. So, that was nice to see.

We have a gauntlet these next 4-5 games though, so let's hope the team is ready to turn it up.

like any other post season football team in any year ever, our post season success will be determined by how the TEAM is playing. If like last year against Green Bay, where my grandmother could have ran for 100 yards against our defense, then it won't matter what dak does. Again, the chiefs allowed 25+ points in just 3 games last year, and they lost 2 of them. The defense must get stops if a team is going to win a superbowl, and 25-28 points should win every football game that has ever been played.

Context is everything. Since it's game 1 we can't truly put the performance in it's true prospective because the sample size is way too small

What we can do though, is know that we outplayed them in almost every way possible and enjoy it for what it was.....1 game.

It's a marathon, not a sprint but if anybody wants to read too much into it one way or the other , that's their prerogative.

But man, i still can't get over Zeke hurdling that dude!

Yes. I agree completely. And I won’t forgive Tolbert for ruining that highlight!! It also would’ve been (maybe) a big momentum boost. It was nice.

I get it. The postseason is how this team/Dak is going to be judged. I really do understand the point and concede that is correct. HOWEVER: It's week 1. So? Like why am I going to stress out over the postseason success of this team in week 1? The whole season would be hell if I did that. Why not just enjoy the ride first? We convincingly beat a playoff team on the road, a team a lot of our own fans said we would struggle against.

Another year.. Another Cowboys team that looks awesome but a dark cloud from previous seasons still hangs over this franchise.

The games are fun but it’s all for nothing if we get to the post season and have our typical no show.

The first thing Brady said about Dak was about his lack of post season success.

So be excited. The Cowboys have a championship caliber roster.

But..

The dark cloud doesn’t leave until we do something in the post season.

Dallas looked like the most impressive team to me today and it wasn’t really close.

Keep in mind we were road underdogs.

But you’re always very negative towards the Cowboys so meh.

I posted half a dozen absolutely PATHETIC, ridiculous responses about our team yesterday. The fact people actually thought I was being serious is due to posts like this one in the title. This place is so ridiculous with some posters that my 100% mocking, horrible take on Micah being a joke because he was so gassed yesterday and out of shape just felt like another day in the life of this place.
