Your just upset that no other HC surpassed his division titles and playoff wins which makes him the most successful Cowboys HC this era thus far.

The only thing that “upsets” me are false narratives and lies. Selective data coupled with willful ignorance. I have no use for it.

And I’m not obligated to do anything. The results stand for themself.

Yeah. “Results” that you clearly, obviously, willingly cherry pick. You fool no one but yourself.

Parcells is a HOF coach. Big Mike has only had 2 seasons, 1 marred by injury to Prescott and coronavirus. Patience with him is already wearing thin though, as far as I can tell.
Wait! Whaat are you doing man! You can't just come on here and insert logic!

Just can’t handle these results . Which aren’t lies.

It’s only a false narrative if division titles and playoff wins aren’t a valid criteria for success with Cowboys HC.

Sounds like your problem . Lol

Not hardly. I’m not the guy looking like a fool propping up ten years of failure.

“LOL”.

Im not promoting an opinion on his coaching abilities or lack thereof. I’m just providing his results were as or more successful than our other HC’s this era.

I'll consider MM more successful this season if he can simply make it to the playoffs in back to back years.

And...in a fraction of the time JG had.

It’s not difficult propping it up amongst all of the failures before him. And probably why Jethro held on so long.

That would be a feat no other Cowboys HC has accomplished this era with consecutive playoff appearances. Last was Gailey in 98 and 99.

But ultimately the goal is championship game appearance. Until a HC breaks thru they will all be considered in same group as others this era.

The 2022 Dallas Cowboys offense might suck this year, but the defense is shaping up very nice. Far less rebuilding that needs to be done on the defensive side. And no way Quinn leaves now at this point. It's way more likely that McFatty and Moore are gone after this season. Can you live with that? I could. Easy! And I say that as a big Kellen Moore fan.

Future of what? What's Dan Quinn going to do that coach after coach has failed to accomplish in this organization?

I guess some of y'all need hope so you invent it. After Quinn it'll be someone else. I cannot ignore the real problem.

Wishful thinking and stubbornness is why he held on for so long. He saw what he wanted to see instead of what was.

Let’s talk about Garrett’s brief tenure in New York.

He saw the first HC this era which came so close on several occasions of finally breaking thru to a championship game winning 3 division titles in 5 years and a couple playoff games . It was arguably the best run for Cowboys Football in 21st Century .

I’m not interested in discussing his two year stint at NY anymore than in Miami. I didn’t follow his career outside the Cowboys and really don’t have any knowledge .

Looking from the outside it didn’t look like a good situation and poor team in NY. And his release looked like an effort to save HC job.

But this era being a HC for the Cowboys has been basically a dead end job. With the lone exception of Gailey who needed a tenure at Ga Tech to finally get another shot in Buffalo which wasn’t successful , it’s basically the last stop for a coaches career as HC.

Too bad it was actually 10-plus years of this franchise’s time.

Of course not. It Destroys your attempted excuses and shows not only couldn’t the guy handle being a head coach, he couldn’t even handle being a coordinator!

And the fact that his offense ranked bottom of the league?

And the first and last stop for someone that never deserved it in the first place.

You’re big on blaming Jerry Jones, blame him for hiring and sticking by a guy who never deserved the job in the first place.

I agree in the grand scheme of things. But don't you think reading the argument of Garrett vs. McCarthy is incredibly entertaining? lol

Ultimately I hold responsibility on where the buck stops.

I hold him responsible for this entire era. The fact we some fans who want to place more burden on those 10 years than the rest of the era is questionable . Especially when the rest of this era was no better.

And it’s arguable to say whether he deserves it or not. Honestly he didn’t seem deserving to be named OC initially. But then he had multiple offers to become a HC then. So , we weren’t the only fools.

Remember initially that in one of the most dysfunctional moves I’ve ever seen in NFL history Jethro named Garrett future of the Dallas Cowboys before even naming our HC , totally undermining Phillips from the beginning setting him up for failure.

I think most thought Garrett would eventually take over . But all of this again is reflective on our dysfunctional and embarrassing ownership .

What exactly is ‘the era’? It looks to be an intentionally ambiguous grey area.

Is that supposed to make it any better?

No argument there. But it still doesn’t make Garrett good at his job.

I thought those multiple offers were just rumors.

I think it was because Garrett was his guy, and since his overwhelming need is self gratification, Garrett succeeding would have been his personal success. Sick poop.
