Speaking of college games, I've been to games at LSU's stadium, which is widely considered one of the loudest stadiums in all of football. I can't really tell a difference between the crowd noise there and at Cowboys Stadium.klee34;3076934 said:Yes my topic was such a fail, that you apparently read the messages and then took the time to respond. I would say that is an epic success. I don't give a rat's rearend, what the new stadium looks like, how much it costs, etc. What I care about is did I have fun at the game (I was at the Atlanta game) and the answer is it was a cure for insomnia. I cheered, yelled, you name it but much of the crowd was talking on their cellphones and stayed in their seats most of the time. I overheard a conversation between two guys sitting behind me that were commenting "I don't know why I spend this kind of money to come to a game. It is so much more fun to go to a college game and they don't overcharge you. I am surprised Jerry Jones doesn't have a toll booth set up in the bathroom stalls." The crowd around me was bored silly. If you enjoy shelling out big time bucks for a boring time then that is your business.
"If it happen within the next 10 - 15 years?" Heck yeah.Future;3076601 said:I don't know that it's going to happen...but it wouldn't surprise you? The NFL is loaded with greed, tapping into the European market would be great from a monetary standpoint.
You won't get any argument from me about playing regular season games abroad but it's obvious that the league (or only Goodell for some) wishes to expand its product successfully beyond North America. It's most significant venture to date was NFL Europa. It failed miserably.Yakuza Rich;3076648 said:I believe Goodell will make a serious push for it. I think this is the truest statement of most posts...Hostile;3075572 said:Any game experience is what you make of it. The sights, the smells, the memories are all about how you choose to enjoy them. You focus on whatever emotion you feed that day. I can go to a High School game with a couple of thousand people and get a game day feeling if I am there to enjoy myself. No idea why anyone would be incapable of the same at an NFL game with their favorite team.

Not sure what most people expect. It was fun. The stadium is great and I had fun.
Only gripe I had is similar to others...need better score placements. The scroll in the corners of the stadium is too small to follow if you just want a quick look.

Alright. That's enough of this... whatever you can call it.klee34;3082584 said:You are probably right. It is obvious there is no need for fans who actually come to cheer loudly and root for their team. You have more than proven yourself to be two letters short of class.
