I did like the evil laugh /clap when we stopped pats early on and forced a punt. He was right by the Los in the background.

I did until I got sick of it. what's the excuse for defense to allow an 80 yard drive starting the second half? what about a 90 yard drive? those were the first two drive for NE coming out in the second half.

When you keep giving the ball back to a team like the Pats, what do you think is going to happen. Do you even know what the average points per game for the Pats offense is this year? 39 per game.

The defense held them 9 points below their average even with any help from the offense.

Let me ask you this...

How many times did we see the Saints and Patriots simply get the ball in players hands with basically just pitch and catch passes?

These pick plays make football easy and they are super effective.

so pitch and catch all day!!! that's it. do that and bang the offense is effective!!!

and where is our defenses ability to stop that? when you can't stop a simple play as you said, teams are going to do it to you all game.....

lets put Street and lucky whitehead on their team and see how they do.... and is that your only complaint? pitch and catch....did you see the rest of their receiving corps running deeper routes to open the middle. none of our WRs can get deep or run a full route tree of any kind..they can't even get off the line. can't tell you how many times I saw them get jammed at the line and get rerouted right off the bat.... its easy to defend against the pitch and catch when you have 8, 9 in the box.....you take away the only routes your WRs are able to run.

They held the Colts and the Titants to 7 and 10 points last year. They held the EaGirls to 3 points in 2013. It's not like the defense hasn't had games where they shut other teams offense down.

what about the Atlanta game? what about the NO game? this defense sucked in the second half of those games. only if NFL games were two quarters!!!

we should serious consider replacing marinelli this off season. this defense has regressed under him

Once an offense can get more than 1 first down in the first half, you can talk. In fact, if it wasn't for an Pat's penalty, they would have none.

what about the second half? pats marched 80 yards for a TD to open the half. then the offense had the ball for over 8 minutes. they marched 80 yards again for another TD...what's the excuse? oh, yeah if in the first half we had more 1st downs, we would have stopped them in the second half!!!

I blame defense in general. we always blame the offense for not carrying the team...when will this defense step up. against NO and Atlanata they were awful in the second half. they were spotted a 14 point lead. gave up a score every drive. against NO, with depleted offense. a half armed Brees, they marched right down the field twice and scored. with 30 seconds on the clock. they couldn't make one crucial stop and allowed them to come down and try a field goal....no excuse for this defense. they suck

we had the ball for 33 minutes!!! NE had it for 26 minutes. what's the excuse for 2nd half. we know the offense is struggling with all the injuries to key players. you allow them to go two 80 yard drives!!! NE had the ball 4 times in the second half and scored 3 times!!!
