We just gonna ignore the fact that Lee's been held out of most of all the team activities due to his proclivity to get injured?
That’s a stupid statement and untrue also. I guarantee you, if they gave the players an aerobic fitness test Sean Lee would be top 5 every year coming into OTA’s or coming into camp. Sean Lee is the consummate pro. He studies and works his off to be successful. He’s a team leader who is not afraid to tell loafers to get your butt in gear. Yes, Lee has had a history of injuries throughout his career, but do you think he wants to get injured? Sometimes injuries just happen, or are bad luck, and sometimes they happen because a person over works themselves, and their muscles don’t have time to recover and they get injured. With some of Lee’s soft tissue injuries( hamstrings, etc. ) that is probably the case. Also, Lee is consistently a dominant LB because he works his butt off, mentally and physically. Irving is INconsistently dominant because he has a ton of natural talent but a mediocre work ethic. Just think how successful Irving could be if he had just 80% of Lee’s work ethic and desire. Even on that short video, Irving is slacking off.

first of all i appreciate good content but surely people realize that channel used by OP is just chopped up footage from something looped over and over usually the audio doesnt even match
like this time he shows Irving jogging to the same stop 3 or 4 times while Lee speaks in the background
its garbage

as for Lee i watched that interview the other day and while he was blunt (as a captain he should be) he made it clear they need Irving, i didnt see it as dogging him or something
Lee is the team leader and captain with Dak its his responsibility to be the standard, i could see Witten saying basically the same exact thing Lee did

as for Irving he cleared it up yesterday

That wasn't good to hear, thanks for sharing it.

I hope he does what he says, that would be great for everyone.

I will say this, I am behind lee 200% on this but dak didnt come off nowhere near as aggressive as lee did and you are right, dak got bashed a little lol.
Dak got bashed by a few posters who do not understand leadership. They don’t understand QB is a position of leadership. Sometimes a leader puts their hand on your shoulder and politely and quietly reminds you what needs to be done, and sometimes a leader yells across the field, get your head out of your . Both ways can be effective. The younger generation is a little sensitive and they tend to, not understand the louder technique.

Even in that footage, the guy looks like he's half *** ing it. But yeah, just like Sean Lee, I have an issue with his missed time and effort level.

Based only on that clip, you'd think Cowboys OTAs were just everybody slowly jogging - or standing - around.

If he were as aggressive as you'd normally like to see him during the drills they were doing in those clips - he'd look like a psycho head case and people would be questioning his mental state.

Sadly, in a lot of instances, it's been the players doing the jobs that some of the coaches should be doing. Sean Lee needs to be made a coach here. We saw how the defense collapsed as soon as he left.
They need to officially make Lee a player-coach. His coaches salary would be 90% of his salary and not count against the salary cap! Do that with every position group. One player/coach per position group.

I have an issue with the fact that it takes a player to say these things and not a coach. A coach should be calling him out publicly. I love that Lee does it, Irving needed a kick to the rear publicly to hopefully get his head screwed on properly
Irving said that he was talking to the (Cowboys) and that they knew his situation and that it was up to them whether they decided to talk about it or not with the media

if you ever watched Garrett you already know that Garrett doesnt tell you anything

That’s actually the prevailing mindset in society nowadays. No one takes responsibility anymore. It’s excuses all day!

You mean like how every Cowboys loss isn't because the other team was better that day but rather it was due to a CONSPIRACY? Excuses all day, huh? You don't say. Lol.

Glad at least a few take the time to look beneath the surface. Had a discussion about this very quote the other day and in a news story and this video, they cut off portions of Lee's quote to attempt to make it look worse than it was. Here's that post: LINK

The actual quote went like so according to an article (LINK to story):
"It’s good to have him here. He needs to be here working,” linebacker Sean Lee said. “The more he’s here, the better it is for us, shared sacrifice, all of us working together as a team is a big deal for all of us. He needs to be here on a more consistent basis. He needs to be working more with us.”

The media counts on people not thinking. They get many takers.

I’ve said from day one that MOST of our losses are because of mistakes we made (a collection of assorted reasons, NOT excuses), but to say there HASN’T been some suspicious occurrences is simply stubborn, idiotic denial.

You once claimed I followed you around, drawing you into debates with preposterous claims or erroneous assumptions. Perhaps now the shoe is on the other foot, yes?
