The Giants should go 12-4

IF the Giants beat Philly and the Cowboys beat the Lions, the Giants will have nothing to play for.

IF the Giants lose to Philly, they can still get in if the Lions, Falcons, Bucs, Lions, or Packers lose. Then they won't have anything to play for against Washington.

As far as all of this talk being to see if there is a chance the Giants can overtake the Cowboys for the number 1 seed? Ridiculous. Even if the Giants win out which is possible, I don't see the Cowboys losing their last two games. Cowboys will be 1 and Giants will probably be 5.

I can't see how the Philly offense will score any points, so the defense/special teams would have to come up huge for Philly to win. Not seeing it.

Division games on the road are always tough, even for the Giants. And the Giants' offensive woes are bound to catch up to them sooner or later.

Anything can happen. Did you 'see' the Cowboys losing a 2nd time to the Giants a few weeks ago?

I don't disagree with you. I think game 2 was decided more by bad playcalling on offense by us and by a loud and pumped home crowd for the Giants. 3rd game is going to be at home for us and with hopefully better playcalling, and I do think we're the better team.

Dez is BIG TIME

Dez had to show up BIG TIME

He was the difference in the game!
I don't believe he has ever been 100% ready for a game yet....

Hoping that changes.

I would be surprised if either the Eagles or Skins put up a fight against that defense. If the Skins have anything even riding on week 17 then maybe they have chance. But the way they are playing they'll lose to Chicago and be out of it.

I'm pretty confident we can take 1 of 2 but it's amazing to be 12-2 and still be concerned about the division.

Last few trips to Philly have been disasters for Eli. He was putrid in the last two games at the Linc. Eagles were within a XP of taking the Ravens to OT in Baltimore so I don't think it's a stretch to think they can give the Giants all they can handle.

In fact, I think the Giants will lose tomorrow night. That Vegas line is screaming Eagles to me. 10-4 Giants team facing a 5-9 Eagles team with the Giants having everything to play for and the Eagles have nothing and the line is only Giants -2.5................

Usually I'd agree. But I highly doubt two teams that are out of playoff contention will have any interest in facing that defense. I look for minimal effort on Thursday from the Eagles and the Skins will probably be shattered and want to go home by week 17.

On the other hand we play Detroit which will have everything in the world to play for. And if we lose the Eagles will make week 17 their Super Bowl to ruin it for us. It's a tumultuous scenario.

We SHOULD beat the Lions but I don't like how we play against them.

Matt Stafford has an injured finger on his throwing hand, which definitely will impact his and the Lions' passing game.
The Lions have no running game.
Their best cover corner is out.
Our defense is peaking, and we may get Claiborne back along with Randy Gregory (who I believe will provide a pass rush off the edge).
We have Dak.
We have Beasley.
We have Witten (who has always been a Lion slayer).
We have Dez.
We have Zeke.
Oh, and we have our offensive line.
And we're playing at home on Monday night.
This game won't be close.

Our defense is better then the Giants defense. I wouldn't take their unit over ours

The beautiful thing is that if things go as they seem, the Giants will have to play at Atlanta or Green Bay while we are sitting at home. I don't think they win either of those games. Just hope they don't get to play the Lions.
It will probably be either the Cowboys or Giants at Green Bay. We need to win one more game

Absolutely. No one mails it in when the Cowboys come to town...
People forget that these low tenured coaches cannot afford to be throwing any games away. Their head coaching record matters.

Whoa, definitely not. Divisional games are weird and both the Eagles and Skins are capable of beating NYG.

Eagles have a pass rush, that alone gives them a chance against the Giants offense. Now that Lane is back and JPP is out, the Eagles can have some decent blocking against them. And that stupid screen oriented/TE focused offense might actually work against them, well enough at least if Wentz isn't throwing the ball to defenders 3-4 times a game.

Skins are jekyll and Hyde and will go out there with nothing to lose. They're just going to fling the ball all over the place, complete wildcard of a game.

I think they win one, but not both. Wouldn't be surprised at any outcome really.

I just hope Eli gets hit, and hit a lot. OBJ too. I wouldn't hate it if Collins missed time.

If the Cowboys are at GB for the playoffs that means we had an epic collapse in both our last two games. If we fail to wrap up the number 1 seed at this point we might as well forfeit the playoffs.
