Our team is wounded and NY probably sees the this game as their best chance to get one over us. We need to win this game and we need to shut up those loser Giants fans. Win this game and get to 2-2 and better yet it’s hitting those Giants fans with a haymaker!! A loss here and we lose more than this game. We lose our dignity!
This thread smells like fecal material.

Cowboys lose and you can stick a fork them. They will be battling the Giants for last place in the NFC east this year and the team will more than likely quit on McCarthy because most of these guys seem like soft players when the going gets tough.

Some folks are glass half full types and some are glass half empty types.
And there are people that smell the milk and tell you if it is disgusting or not. Doesn't matter how much is in the glass then....

Yeah, beating the Giants isn't going to regain dignity....after the gutless performances of the past couple of games and the extremely gutless performance of the playoff game. They can regain a little confidence and momentum, but dignity? That is something that can't be won just by beating a team they have dominated so often lately.
You're correct but watch the doom and gloom in here turn around if we win. If we lose...the season is basically over.

^ This. There is an old saying about taking candy from a baby. In Dallas' case, the Cowboys swallowed a Tootsie Pop, which the Packers physically reached down their throat and pulled out. Then eight months later, the Cowboys swallowed a Tootsie Roll, which the Saints physically reached down their throat and pulled out.

Seeing that happen one time is enough to make any fan gag, but twice? Sickening.

Couldn’t they just do the “ Heimlich maneuver “

Wait. A Cowboys victory over the Giants will generate what types of posts from members again?

I am referring to all members' posts. Some members' posts have not really changed since the Green Bay playoff loss. Other members' posts have fluctuated in tone from week-to-week this season. A percentage of members' posts may morph from 'doom and gloom' but I do not believe the reflection will be all-encompassing.

The Heimlich removes objects blocking airflow from the lungs. This was more arm jammed down to the elbow and completely yanked back out of the esophagus. The respiratory system remained unaffected, lol.

The giants 100% smell blood

And they have absolutely no power to do anything about it. This is the easiest game of your schedule. Enjoy the week and being back to .500. Why is everyone fretting about this?
this board is always afraid, if we lose to the Giants, we lose but now all of a sudden, they are afraid of Daniel Nickels who they laughed at just one week ago, plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose at extremecowboyszone.com

It is. Also could be a reality check that maybe they aren’t the lesser team lol.
That's a possibility too. If they do win handly it shouldn't really change much on how we feel about the team as it doesnt really answer questions about who they're against playoff teams.

However, if they lost its probably fair to say the Cowboys look to be on a bottom quartile trajectory this year.

So it's win who cares vs lose hit the panic button.

Beating up a lesser talented team maybe is exactly what the Cowboys need to get back on track.
If we beat on them it will not get us back on track, it will only lend false hope, and allow Jerry to pat himself on the back. On the other hand, if we lose.....

Yep practice games for starters is over, this game will help I expect a slow Q1 then a 40 burger. Next game getting a starting CB also helps. And the OL rooks fine tune their timing on combos in run game and defending stunts in pass pro. That’s the path.

The DL doesn’t offer as much hope vs the run so the path is still to score and play with a lead.

Ahh, the memories of three 12-5 seasons each ending in abject failure and one vote for MVP. How the other teams must be jealous. Hope this is enough to sustain the faithful for the foreseeable future.

If they put the beats on them it will mean they are probably closer to last years team. If they lose that means they no longer have an edge over the average and bad teams. They are worse.

Dignity? lol. Jerry has no dignity and you think some fans will lose theirs? But then again, it would not bother me if the Giants were to kick the Cowboys to the curb. JJ deserves it.
