Every now and then they do but only because they have a MONSTER defense to do it for them.

0 sacks, 0 turnovers in 2 weeks.

I bet no other team can say that. Seriously, I bet every other team has at least one in one of those categories.

I NEVER in a million years could have predicted this either, nor would I have believed anybody that would have predicted it. In fact I'd have tried to bet them everything on it, and I'd be living in a cardboard box tonight because of it.

That sounds amazing. I've been creaming my pants for the last couple of months imagining Sanchez as our QB (or any young, promising quarterback). Maybe we just waited too long to uncover Romo's potential. FFS, he's 29 already. Wade probably won't be gone until next year, so we may as well call it "30". We have an extremely talented, young offense:

Barber - 26
Felix - 22
Choice - 23
Witten - 27
Bennet - 22
RW11 - 27
Austin - 25

Imagine if we had a young, promising QB to go with them. What if Romo never gets it done...what if he's 32-34 before we realize that he isn't the answer? I don't want to waste the prime of our other players with a qb that's already topped off.

I know, overreaction and what-not. But it's painfully obvious that getting rid of TO was not the final answer (i'm glad he's gone) and this is pretty much the same team as last year with the same problems as last year. We need a hard-***, disciplined coach and a young qb to grow up with the promising core we already have.

Nah it's cool. No over reaction. Romo's garbage. Nuff said. I want Sam Bradford leading this team.

I don't think he's ever gonna learn from his mistakes. He played better under parcells, may not have had as many big plays but he is not the type of player that can go out and chuck it around everywhere, although he thinks he is.

If he would have simply been a bus driver tonight we win easily.

Yeah he does.

Let's be serious, at day's end what realistically was expected of a non drafted free agent from a no name division II conference and a school named after a compass direction?

He is what he is, lucky to be here, good relative to how he arrived and his lack of pedigree but never will he be a legacy and right now he's more Eddie LeBaron then Danny White.

In the 50 year history of Dallas starters he ranks here:

Staubach
Aikman
White
Meredith
Morton
Romo
Testeverde
Bledsoe
LeBaron
Carter

Number six out of ten candidates.

Um...not me if you recall...and I was just about tared and feathered for it.

If you payed attention last week and did not get caught up in all the hype the same fundamental and mechanical problems were there from him...they just are not fun to point out when he is having a stellar game....

Romo will bounce back from this and have some great games, and you all will fall in love with him again and think he is the chosen one.
Not me. I'm done with this clown. It wasn't TO, it wasn't Pacman, it was Romo all along. This fool is ruining the franchise.

Good god man, 1K posts and you still type this kind of drivel? Romo has a terrible game, but he is our best chance to win. No discussion. No Questions. No debate. Please stop with this knee jerk crap.
I seriously doubt that. Read the quoted post below:

just watched Romo's press conf. looks pissed and said he cost the team

said he will get better and work hard

most glaring thing was he said the defense played well/should have been clear and said the RUN DEFENSE

Whatever. Shut up fool. You are a loser and I will be glad when you are off this team.

Romo played bad, we all know that. But there is some good to look for after this game. Romo better learn front this game and the the defense did good with all those short fields.

All in all, we all hoped for a won, but a loss might just wake this team up and force them to play better.

Thats the thing though. Romo just has not learned. He is making the exact same mistakes he made two years ago. I doubt this game is going to turn the lights on for him....the man just does not learn. Take him as he is...he will have games like tonight and games like last week. In order to win a championship you cant have games like tonight in December or January. So far Romo has not been able to go that long with out a game like tonight...

And don't think that this is solely a Romo problem, our offensive coordinator, head coach, corners, linebackers...this team can not learn. Its a good team, but it can't reach the next level, which it is so close to because it just can not learn from its mistakes.

I have no idea how the Cowboys are going to do from this point, but the Giants had the superior QB tonight....and it wasn't close.

People keep saying that Romo will learn, he's had 4 years for that. This is who he is. A QB that doesn't understand how bad it is to throw INT.

When you add his lack of judgement with the fact he has what could best be described as a "loser" personality, when don't have much of a future with him. Football and winning obviously aren't that big of a deal to him, he has said so itself.

If there is one thing I can't stand it's when losing bothers me more than a player, especially a QB.

I'd bench his dumb butt.

No, I honestly don't believe he's our best chance to win at this point. You watched the game tonight, right? And why shouldn't there be any debate? What has Romo done recently to allow him to be guaranteed the starting QB job? And it's not like this is the first big game that he's choked in. You're lying to yourself if you think otherwise.

Yep but if you spot the Bengals 24 points they'd win too.

Romo has had so many chances to learn from unbelievably bad games. He will never learn just like Favre never learned and threw a bunch of INT's. Blame the coaches for not running the ball down the Giants throat. Your running backs went for over 200 yards. Wade Phillips is the real problem here. You don't want him throwing so many INT's? Simple, run the ball more and give him less chances to make mistakes...

Serviceable QBs don't win Championships.

No they do, but their offensive coordinator has to know they are a serviceable QB and call plays like they are a serviceable QB.

romo will win a superbowl and im grateful we have him but he must learn to
protect the ball

i have not lose faith in us winning with romo. he will lead us to the promise land but he and this team as a whole has got to stop shooting themselves in the foot with dumb mistakes. we handed this game away tonight

he never wants to let a play die. just throw the ball away or check down.

I have always defended Romo, but no more..he is way too careless with the ball....This season was doomed when Jery brought Wade back...blame Jerry..all his money went into "JERRYWORLD" as opposed to a REAL HEAD COACH
