Slate I used to be like you when I was in my teens and 20's...okay well into my 30's. Romo is not garbage he is exceptional, but there's no excusing the way he played. He had a bad game and he tends to have bad games in big moments but...

At the end of the day I think we will both be glad he's our QB. Honest.

I'm 21 man and never got to experience the superbowl years. I'm seriously just tired of it. No heart,no leadership. I can't help it.

Danny White was 10 times better than Romo. Romo is a clown and I'm tried of wasting my time watching him.

I just thought we were past lousy defense and the QB killing the team with the multitude of turnovers.

You cant win consistently with this kind of stuff, and you certainly cant win championships.

You got that right.

This crap has gone on long enough. Time for changes.

People still not seeing the forest for the trees. Romo was no doubt beyond pathetic tonight, but more importantly...

Leftwich 276 Yards 1 TD. No sacks, no INTs.

Manning 330 Yards 2 TDs. No sacks, no INTs.

We could have Brady, Manning, and Brees wrapped up into one, but we would still have a 11 guys on defense that cannot make a play.

Romo is better than Morton. But Morton did QB them to a Super Bowl appearance in 1970.
True but when I went back and watched some old games from that season. The reasons for our success that year were

1. Doomsday

2. Hill/Thomas/Reeves/Garrison

I love the overreacting after a loss...it's great stuff.

Dude, who is overreacting? This defense has sucked tremendously ever since Wade has got here. They produce no turnovers at all. And so far this season, they have 0 sacks and 0 turnovers and let Tampa gain almost 500 yards of offense. They suck.

And Romo has been making these same mistakes since he stepped on the scene. Everyone says to be patient. Well guess what, he's played 2 full seasons and a half of another one, 2 games this season and 2 playoff games and no progression at all. Actually, he is digressing.

Also, he is almost 30. Time is ticking now.

People in here crack me up. Yeah Romo had a bad game, but you guys act like he was making poor decisions all over the place.

Just a little education for some of yous who can't understand...An inaccurate pass is not the same as a bad decision.

There was NOTHING wrong with Romo's decision to throw to Williams or Witten on the first 2 interceptions. The problem was he threw a poor pass both times. There isn't anything to learn from that. A bad pass, is a bad pass. Of course the 2nd one as bad a throw as it was, wasn't bad enough to be an interception, it was just a fluke.

The last pass may have been a poor decision, or he may have just not seen him, I'm not really sure, but it wasn't good either way.

The biggest decision that Romo made that frustrated me was not running for the first down on the opening drive. Outside of that, his problems were mostly accuracy.

take away the 3 big plays last week and Romo has gotten off to a horrible start to the season.

There is always the Lions........

Romo was horrible today. But: all is not lost. The running game was terrific and our D played good run defense. The effort of the team other than Romo is good for at least 8 wins this season.

If we can rein in Tony a bit and he gets his mind right, we can still have a very good year. We'll line it up and do it again vs Carolina next Monday, and I bet we play a good football game and get it cranked up again.

Hang in there. I'm as mad as anyone but what's done is done.

Screw that I'm tired of ppl talking foul about Danny like that Romo should only dream to get anywhere on Dannys level at this point.
Totally agree, Danny didn't lose games like this. He won some big playoff games as well. I'm fed up with Tony. I don't think we'll ever be more than a 9-7 team with him as our QB. He'll have another great game and make us forget all this but sooner or later turnover Tony will return.

I agree with you completely. I was just saying that IS one thing that Morton could have on his resume. And in addition he took a Broncos team to one in 1977 where Doomsday destroyed him.

Did Romo suck tonight? Heck ya he did. That shot off Wittens heel just blew my mind.

But was he responsible for all the blown coverages, Felix Jones' fumble on the return, and the Giants' game-winning drive? It genetrally takes 45 men to lose an NFL game.

Yeah, sure it sucks. And maybe Romo will NEVER get it. But I'd rather have us start out in lurches and finish the season 'strong' as opposed to the fold jobs we're pretty much used to.

Let's all take a deep breath. Only 14 regular season games to go - and anything and everything is STILL possible.

It's week 2. I'll start going into panic mode when we accumulate 7 or 8 losses before the season is over.

for me, it's just sending Romo a message

hell, McNabb was benched, but came in the 2nd half of a game last year, and they went on a tear

Exactly, it's about sending a message.

I wouldn't expect Kitna to out-TD Romo, but on the other hand I wouldn't expect Kitna to get 3 INTs either. And plus he might actually be able to get Roy the ball.

Really go look up how many INTS Danny White threw.
I dare ya.

Too many people relying on nostalgia in evaluating QBs
