Wow the threads on Zeke after this loss is something else. Last I checked you need holes to run thru but I guess he is supposed to gain yards without blocking.
Not really, any rb can run thru big holes.
The thing that I noticed, on the runs where ewok got 2 yds or less, he ran straight into a pile of bodies.
On those plays it was wide open to the left and right, but he chose to just slam into the pile.
He has an option there, and even if he is not as fast anymore, if he bounced those outside , he could then turn
straight up field going n/s again and get positive yardage, at least 5 yards.
All night he ran into the pile over and over, which kinda says he isnt too bright, and doesnt have good vision.
The fumble wasnt a fumble it was a strip, or what I call a pull out.
The only thing about that is a DB pulled it out, not a big lineman, and that says ewok 's arm strength
isnt what it should be.
That could be due to lifting drinks in cabo as opposed to lifting weights in TC.
A 1.9 avg is not average, it is way below. Kamara manged a 4.0 avg and he had tough time too.
Part of doing good in a game like this was, defensive, is 2nd effort, being smart, and highly motivated.
I dont the EE was any of those in this game.
Was he the reason they lost? no, but he didnt help at all. Any rb in the nfl could have done what he did
in that game. He got paid to be more than that, and there are no good excuses for him.
